He was the goat of mma. Anyone who says different is intiteled to there opinion but would be wrong when you look at his record and the caliber of fighters he went up against.

Definitely the greatest in pride, in his Era.. he accomplished more than all those in pride fighting.. but if he was in ufc in his prime, then things would not Have worked out as well. Fighters have definitely beat Fedor in his prime, because anyone can get caught by messing up.. I say Fedor is top 5 of all time.. but not number 1 all time. Now, I do believe him to be number 1 all time in pride fighting.. but not number 1 best all time in history outside of the pride organization..

There is a video where they are about to spar and do a demonstration and Alex does a cheap shot as a joke and Fedor taps him out quickly to get back at him.

They called Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer." Cute name. But every time I looked at Aleksander, I thought, "This dude actually looks like he might have murdered a few people with an axe for the russian mob." Especially earlier in his career, when he had the sunken eyes of a desperate brigand.

he was more of a boxer than anything. pure striking. that's why his fights are so great to watch. no humping. he did a great job at keeping distance and used his jab, A++++ fighter

the two bros had some giant oponents. Much respect for both of them. But Fedor was the best. I'm Brasillian and I was happy and sad when Fedor lost for Werdum. i miss the time when respect was important.

Very talented and if he had more discipline he could had gone futher but he's a great fighter and has had a great career but Fedor just had the greater gift. That's just the way it is for some..

Fedor took up bird watching and was charged with a felony cruelty to animals.

The biggest difference was when Alexander punched you, it hurt. When Fedor punched you, you were numb.
