I don't think that carbon fiber on the engine is for protection, its actually a strut bar for weight distribution while high speed turning. shifts momentum for much sharper turns. I installed one a few months ago and the difference is crazy.

Wraps wouldn’t be the same without you!

If you do another M3/M4, those grilles in the front just pop straight out. Might make your life a touch easier with how wild the front bumpers are

@@ParadoxTheWrapper yea, very easy to remove! Im still watching the vid, the reflectors in the rear bumper also pop out easily. I believe those M4 pieces on the front fenders also pop right off as well! I had a M4, wife had a M2, we were well versed in pulling them apart. We sold both last year tho. There should be vids on popping those items off tho since people swap those kidney grilles out all the time!

just got question, if i dont have garage and leave the car on my driveway. can i wrap it? does the warp got damage easily from those experimental issue, such as bird drop, rain etc? im thinking abt matte finish, how is this compare with gloss finish wrap?

Yeah you probably can. Maybe you'll get some dirt under the wrap if it's too windy and the car is not super clean. I wrapped one of my cars in dark platinum (matte) from teck wrap and it came out nice. Bird drops to be honest I think it was a lot more resistant than paint. Also cleaning it is a lot easier because it's very hydrofobic. Sold the car 6 months after applying the wrap so I can't vouch for the long term durability, but if you're doing it yourself it gets cheap so even if it's 3 years it's good enough imo. I got a few wraps from china, 1/4 of the price, decent material

It surely makes it easier, but you can use the same technique as he did with the bmw emblems. Removing it you're making sure it's got a better finish and to wrap the sharkfin os a lot easier it being out of the car

What is the difference between sticking this plastic to it and painting it? With a little scratch, couldn't it start to peel?

Paint costs a lot more than wrap does. Plus, say you are taking your car to a car show and wanna put some designs, fancy color, etc. You can wrap it for the show, have it taken off by the end of the show and it doesn't affect the underlying paint. A fancy color changing, or color effects wrap will cost a heck of a lot less than color changing paint that's for sure. Plus it's fun to do, and if you take your time, is not super hard to learn.

A wrap also protects your paint. If a piece of the vinyl gets damaged in anyway you can replace it alot easier than fixing paint damage.

And paint will last 15+ years, wrap lasts 3-5 years I think. Wrap can be done in a day and paint could take a week or more.

I watched the episode with the wrap institute. I thought it was just a publicity stunt until i saw Paradox using the tips and tricks he learned. Grey vinyl really shows off all of the factory orange peel in that paint 😂 Owner should have just spent the money on a good paint job. BMW have some of the worst factory paint when it comes to orange peel.

Ok, I've got to say it. Out of ALL the colors that can be chosen, why is everyone choosing BORING grey? I know it's the person's choice, but come on. There are SO many colors to choose from to make a vehicle pop.

Guy has no clue what that carbon piece is. Look at how it attaches its a strut tower brace. This guy bought the m as a clout car. No clue if it has 2 turbos or 1 lol. here is a helpful tip though. change the oil every 3k miles full syn. don't follow the bullshit 15k Bmw oil change interval. think about it. almost 7 quarts of oil running high oil temps in a turbo car. Have some mechanical sympathy and change it often.

Looks great but man ot kills me the tires don't even seem to get treated. On the reveal you have this beautiful new shiny wrap and then dull dirty looking tires. Throw a little tire shine on before the reveal, it just really completes the look.

Nardo gray - I can choose any color in the whole wide world...well, I choose primer gray because somewhere someone said it is sporty color. The power of social media....OMG....people can"t have their own opinion anymore...and even if they do, they are afraid of it.

That's not a good wrap. Too much heat, the knife is not good, dust inclusions everywhere under the wrap, cuts incorrectly placed, for example on the front bumper you can see white through. For a good wrap you should remove all add-on parts such as the rear lights. Just a little tip

so much dirt trapped under the wraps, do you even clean the car before wrapping? looks terrible when camera zooms in and you can see pimples of dirt all over...i would never ask you to wrap my pride and joy,id get it done professionally

No need to heat evey square inch of the vinyl. If you are doing that you are stretching in places that don't need to be. Also what happens to all the vinyl you tucked under the head light. That was not touching anything just shuved under the headlight flapping around back in there.
