i like the way Jerry Quarry fights. He just ran out of breath at the end. I realize Muhammed Ali strategy is he dance around for 2 rounds to let his opponents do all the swinging to tire themselves out and then by the 3rd round he takes advantage

@@garthdrake3220 There was a load off boxers like, they go for the gut and not the head, kill the gut and the head drops, Joe Frazier was one of the best and that's how he beat Ali in the ring, Ali did not and could not cope with these type of boxers, that's why the dirty trick of resting on their neck and put pressure down, that is why Ali was lifted into the air at first, that showed the ref what he was doing, Ref did nothing about the Illegal move which is a point deducted from Ali if the ref had step in to stop Ali illegal move. Ali had a bad habit of doing that to tired out his opponents

He was the greatest world Heavyweight boxer who ever lived!!, in my humble opinion!!, AND who did Quarry think he was!!? It was a boxing match NOT A BLOODY wrestling match!! AND he had about as much chance!!, of picking Ali up, and throwing him out of the ring!!, than I'd have had!! The manchild, was nothing more than a show off, and Ali was classes and classes above him!!, AND, what Did Foreman think he was doing by being there!! Ali wiped the floor with big George!! AND I CAN!! believe Foreman, could've thrown Quarry out of the ring!! AND about 6 rows back at that!! Ali beat Foreman with tremendous ease, and, was given no real chance of beating Him!! On points, let alone by TKO!! AND, I was sitting 3 rows, right behind Ali, when he cut loose!! AND I can STILL remember like yesterday, how my brother nudged me in the ribs, and said Quote!! ' here we go Pete!! Uuuuu just watch Ali knock this big prick clean bang out!!' Unquote. And THEE very first hit Ali landed on Foremans head!! Sent about half a cup of sweat flying from his head!! AND!, I can STILL see the sheer grit in Ali's eyes as he honed in on Foreman, Looking directly into his eyes!! AND then..BANG BANG BANG!! As Ali's gloves thundered into George's head!!, AND then, Ali followed him to the right hand side of the ring, as in, from where Doug my brother, and I were sitting!! As he watched him fall ing not!! FALL EN!! Ali had both gloves cocked!, with far more than enough time, too have LANDED at LEAST!! another 3 or 4, Punches onto his head!! AND!! It'd have all been, well within the legal boxing rules, IFFF Ali DID land another 3 or 4!! Why? because!! Foreman was Fall ing!! NOT, Fall en!! But!!, Being the great Sport that he was!!, Ali just watched him Fall helplessly!! AND some other guy sitting next to me, shouted FOREMAN DOESEN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT PLANET HE'S ON U GUYS!!,😯AND, I can still remember how the ref Patted Ali's gloves, as if to say, Well done son!!! We both know he's had enough Ali!!, AND without being told, Ali just calmly walked away, from George's fallen body!! AND had a quick glance back over his right shoulder, just too be sure and certain, that Foreman WASN'T going to get back up again!!, AND!! 47 years later, I still say HAD ALI HAVE hit Foreman again, even 2 more xs!!, He'd have sustained some Very very, serious, and, permanent damage, and even have possibly ended George's career!! I can assure you all, like anything else in life, you'd have had to have been there, but, it was honestly no REALL!! contest!!, AND as George said years later, 'IIIII HIT ALI WITH PUNCHES THAT WOULD HAVE BROUGHT A BRICK WALL DOWN!! BUT!! I COULDN'T EVEN HURT HIM!!, LET ALONE BUST AND BEAT HIM!! AND WHEN I SAW THE REPLAY, AFTER THE FIGHT, THAT ALI HAD NOTHING MORE, THAN A HALF CLOSED, RIGHT EYE!!' And I still say, the betting Agents, couldn't have gotten their betting Odds any more wrong!!, Because GEORGE should've been 6/7/ and 8 TOO 1!! TOO BEAT ALI!! AND AT LEAST 10 TO 1 TO TKO/ OR CLEAN KO ALI!! AND, A betting Agent came into the Bar, of the Hotel.my brother Doug and I were staying at!! Yelling akin too an Auctioneer!! 7 TOO 1 FOR ALI to win!! AND!! 10 to 1 for Ali too knock Foreman OUT !! Doug called him over and said WILL U GIVE ME 8 T0 1 FOR ALI TOO WIN?, AND!! 10 TO 1 FOR ALI TOO EITHER TKO OR KNOCK FOREMAN CLEAN OUT!!? AND THE SMIRKING, TEXAN LOUD MOUTHED, BOOKIE WROTE THE 2 BETS OUT!! Doug said by the way loud mouth!! If Ali wins AND KOS FOREMAN!! U DO REALISE U HAVE TO PAY FOR BOTH BETS!! CORRECT!!?😡😡😡😡😡AND the big 10 gallon Hatted TEXAN BOOKIE!! YELLED OUT!!, OF FN COURSE UUU DUMB OLD BOY!!DOUG REPLIED SOOOO, U WILL OWE ME $900 AND $1100 IFFF ALI BEATS AND KOS FOREMAN CORRECT!! AND then Doug asked the Barman would he please be his witness!!? And the huge but friendly Barman/Bouncer replied, I SURE WILL SIR!! AND!! By the way MRRRR TEXAN BOOKIE!!😡Ude better be here!!, at 8pm tomorrow night!! Just as u said u would be!!😡and if you're not here!! I know what room your staying in, in the Hotel next door!! Do we understand one another !!??? Texan..'SURE I UNSERSTAND!!' FF TOO 8PM THE NEXT NIGHT,..AND AS SOON AS THE CHIMES ON THE BIG WALL CLOCK, CHIMED AT 8.30 PM,..A VERRRY SHEEPISH BOOKIE WALKED iNTO THE PUB BAR!!😶 STETSON HAT IN 1 HAND!!, AND PAID DOUG MY BROTHER $2000 IN USA $100 BILLS!!😶AND then he paid the other 8 guys he owed money to too!! I just thought I'd tell u about that is All folks!!, Ps..THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A CERTAINLY IN SPORTS!! AND ALI proved it!! All the best to u and........ Your loved ones folks!! Kind regards Pete.

Spot on you too!!🙂 I could, and often do just watch the old Ali fights over and over!! No ones ever said it too me, and I've NEVER read it either, but!! Watching Ali in the ring boxing who ever his opponent might have been, was a beautiful thing too watch my friend!! What I meant by a 'saying' is..Ali reminds me of Elvis!! He could just move in a way that NO ONE else in his field could do, in my humble opinion YOU too!!😊 the God given natural rhythm they both did and energised on their own 'Stages' was beyond belief!! With Elvis Presley, I've always thought that he must've been double jointed to gyrate in the way he did!! He could go from bolt upright, to twist and gyrate until both of his knees were on the stage floor!! AND, in my humble opinion, it was as if he was born with a microphone stand or, just a microphone in his hand or hands!! I DO KNOW if I tried to use a microphone stand like Elvis did, it'd end up In the Audience!! Or behind or, to the side of the stage!! AND!! No one ever taught him how to do it to the best of my knowledge either My friend!! Because he just had, a God given talent that knew no bounds the way I see or, seen it my friend!! Same as Ali!! I watched him in the interview live with Frazier before the Thriller in Manilla!! AND, even tho Ali was actually taller than Joe, he didn't look or seem to be when they were sitting side by side!! They got into a scuffle, and my cousin was a stage hand, he told me out of the view of the cameras, Ali was just deflecting Joe's 7 or 8 Punches he threw!! AND!! Ali had Joe by the throat when they were separated!!😮 I said I don't really know if I can follow u cousin Brian!!🤔 he said, as I told when I rang u the next day Pete, It was soooo obvious that Ali was just too fast for Joe!!! AND, as Brian and 3 other stage hands walked out with Ali, He said .It might take me 14 or the full 15 Rounds with him to beat him Brian!! But!! I'll definitely close his right eye and I'll close his left eye too!! Unless I run 0ut of time!! AND!! Ifff I'm right about that, even though we'll both be exhausted!! I'll close his left eye with my right straight drive!! AND!! It might take me 4 or more punches too close his left eye, But!! Close it I will!! Unless of course I run out of time guys!! So? When the 14th was Over, I knew what Ali had told Brian, was eeerily Prophetic folks!! Because at the end of the 13th and the 14th, poor old Joe was walking to the wrong corner, Until his trainer or an assistant cornerman, led him back too his own and correct corner!! AND even tho we can speculate all we want too, and try to imagine what d v happened ifff Joe's team hadn't v thrown the towel in, and both men we're exhausted as Ali predicted!!?? In my humble opinion Ali d v had just enough energy left to have completely closed Joe's left eye, and if that was the case, the Ref d v stopped the fight anyway!! Which is just common sense!! AND...after Ali ko'd Foreman, he said 'His hands can't hit what he's eye's can't see!!' AND the exact same thing d v happened Ifff, they DID fight the 15th vs Frazier!! Both of them nearly killed one another!! AND!! Joe spent over a month in the ICU after that fight, whereas Ali did a tv interview 6 days after the fight!! He did have a tiny bit of swelling on both cheeks, and GOD only knows he's have still been very sore and bruised!! AND!! He had the good grace to wish Joe all the very best in his next $400.0.00 fight!! The interviewer said it's only a $400 thousand dollar fight Ali!! Ali replied...YEAH!! WELL SOMEONE THINKS ENOUGH OF JOE TO PUT $400.000 Of his own money up too see it go ahead doesn't he!!??😡 Hence Ali defended Joe, and he said he's got a big family to feed!!!and I wish him all the very best!! Lastly, 1 thing I took out of the Thriller, is u should be careful what u pray for at xs!! Because, just before the fight, Joe prayed to God to give him the strength to kill Ali!! But, it didn't work!! and even though I'm not an overly religious person, I don't think God wants us to kill 1 another my friend!! As I began with, Ali was the greatest heavyweight champion boxer I've ever seen!! Poetry in motion!! God given graceful boxing ability beyond belief!! AND I hope Both Ali and Frazier rest in peace!! All the best to u and Your loved ones my friend, kind regards Pete.

Roberto Duran,Danny Lopez,Ray Mancini,Tommy Hearns,Roy Jones Jr,Lennox Lewis,Both Klischko bros.,and plenty of the modern Stars as well, even though I'm Very Disappointed about the Whole Bs Laymo New Age Boxing Trend of basically having 1 bout per year. This was billed as “The Quarry Brothers vs The Soul Brothers” with Jerry’s younger brother Mike being brutally KOed by the great Bob Foster in the undercard. Jerry said he witnessed it and why he came out in a rage trying to hurl Ali out of the ring. This was a great “closed circuit” night of boxing. I remember Ali saying afterwards that he felt this was the fight where his timing was finally back after the 3 1/2 year lay off. He was in full campaign mode for the Frazier rematch. Thanks for the upload.
