That's one of the nicest egars I've seen.
I think you nailed it, and your client seems very happy with it. It's not a hairstyle that I like, but you did it well. I think the only thing that might make it more authentic is shortening the bangs. Generally, with an Edgar they are cut straight across mid-forehead (which is part of why I don't care for the style).

Tbh as long as the fringe is textured and not lined up straight edgars are not that bad

Hey Matt 😉 Who is Edgar 🤔? You got him ready to meet the parents. The one thing I have never done is brought a picture in to a barber nor hairstylist. I think I’d be setting myself up for disappointment if the style isn’t done correctly or the problem is my hair. I always get a consultation and give an idea but I pretty much let the barber/hairstylist be creative and do what they do. Cool move with the finger tatt. Almost 10 years married 🥂. #FOURFIVESEVEN
