Hey, Czech dude here! Although the Czech league is definitely not the best now (however Slavia Prague had some successful attempts in Europe), we were better before - especially in 2004. The Czech national team had top quality players. If you search the roster of 2004, you would find (besides Čech) players like Nedvěd (Juventus Turin), Koller, Rosický (both Borussia Dortmund), Baroš, Šmicer (both Liverpool), Galásek, Grygera (both Ajax Amsterdam), Poborský (Sparta at that time, but was in ManUtd or Lazio) and nearly all other players from European top 5 leagues. They scored the most goals in the whole tournament with England, Baroš was the top scorer of the tournament, they won the group without losing, although there were Netherlands and Germany. Honestly, we should have won the tournament. Unfortunately the Greeks did it with a 1-0 win every game. It was probably the Czech prime era of football. Top 10 state in the UEFA world rankings at that time. So just a little clarification on what was expected of the Czech team in 2004. Otherwise great video!

Czech league is now ranked 14th in europe and was pretty much quality back then, i think sparta beat real madrid the year before cech joined them

Sparta didn't beat Real, they lost 2-3 at home match, but it was great game and lots of people still remembers, how good Sparta played. In these years Sparta played Champions league almost every year, so this was a really strong club in terms of competitivnes in Europe.

@@oliversodomka3651 In 1983 Sparta beat Real 3-2 at home game. It is one of the greatest matches in Sparta history along with beating Barcelona 1-0 in 1992 Champions league semifinals group.

3:46, Bro, in Euros 2004, we had one of the greatest teams on the tournament! We were the main favorites to win. But sadly a silver bullshit goal ended us. And 8 years earlier, we were 12 minutes from victory against Germany in the finals! So no more words than we rarely performens well. Thank you.
