Hey Sean, will you be painting the buildings once the asphalt is done?? I think painting them would be a great idea - make them look fresh and new and you could do them in colours that reflect your company.

That operator is a surgeon with that excavator. That was some excellent work he done working around the edges of the building. Happy for you guys to finally be getting the paving done and I know you all are too. Mowing is pretty much non existent down here. lol. That guy did an AMAZING job on the excavator! I can barely get out of bed without stubbing a toe. Can’t wait to see the finished product. I always tell my wife, a new layer of asphalt will make any neighborhood look like a million bucks. Maybe the city will actually wise up and fix the sidewalk after seeing how your lot turns out.

I hope you had them to carry that out to your land and dump it. Good for your drive way

I watch D&J Projects on youtube, taking up the metal drains and cleaning them out would be a standard part of the service. part of the clean up after they finish the job. It will be interesting to see if the quality of this work is of the same standard. I'm happy this is getting done. I hope you can get more storage units.

Well they could the haul the extra rock to there property but how far is it may not be worth it

Shawn and TQ you might want to get 6 inches of asphalt laid cause in less than a year the 2 inch layer will be rutted chewed up from 26,000 pound moving box trucks and from your snow plows because 8 inches of asphalt on top of 16 inches of stone supports a 80,000 pound plus load rolling down the road for a parked static load of 80,000 pounds plus parked it requires 16 inches of asphalt to 48 inches of stone underneath concrete is different a 16 inch thick slab of concrete will support 80,000 pound plus load with 32 inches of stone static weight and the same 16 inch slab and 32 inches of stone will support rolling weight

The sidewalk is a liability issue for the city..strange they don’t want to do something about it.

Just noticed in the start of this video that neither of you were wearing your set belt/shoulder harness. In addition to possibly being sited by the local police, you're in particular danger driving a forward-control truck. You should be wearing your belts in that truck whenever you're traveling.
