Those lizards are called basilisks and they are the only lizard species that can run on two legs. They can run for short distances on water as well! (But they are invasive in many areas due to the pet trade unfortunately).

Okay, but there is a reason for it. When hundreds/thousands of people swarm the (maybe) two person door of a building all at once, it takes longer for everyone to get out, and people usually get trampled and seriously injured/killed. Seriously, there was a concert where some fireworks caught the venue on fire, and multiple people died, not from the fire, but from being crushed under a stampede. (Can't remember the concert/venue name, but should be findable on google.) Similarly, there's a reason why you should try to stay calm when fleeing a shark. Sharks are naturally drawn to things that are thrashing around in the water (like a panicked human trying to make it to shore) because it's usually a wounded fish the shark can snack on.

I said "what" to my father once and he goes on a rant on how disrespectul I am and if I did it to a teacher they'll get piss off and throw books at my face. My dad is a teacher and I wonder wether his speaking from experience, concerning cause he teach kids under 12.

The student is owning what she did and is standing up for herself against the teacher for doing something she felt was necessary. That is responsible in every respect. Wrong? Maybe, stupid? Possibly, confrontational? Yes, but not irresponsible.
