@6:45... That laser is used by stage hands/riggers. I'm a high rigger and have 2 of them. @10:40... When I was a kid (40 years ago), Legos were a great cheap toy. Now, the collectors have made Lego think they can price their sets like collectibles. They're too expensive to buy for kids to play with. It's a shame because they're a really great development toy.

I love Pete’s reaction when somebody tries to get 5-10 more bucks out of something he always laughs like it’s trivial but then when he is bargaining $5-10 less he pays is what he does every time. But that is the business… at least it’s not like selling insurance you have to put on a whole fake persona.. he makes up for it with being honest usually when things are worth more than the people know

The Victrola crate panel is probably all original, outer frame not added later. It’s the top panel to the shipping crate. I have a long side panel that is framed like that, original to the crate. Dog’s name is Nipper btw :)

Regarding the Cougar Paws, the only time I ever felt like I was going to fall off was when I tried Cougar Paws. LOL They're just too thick. Too much stress on the ankles. Regular gym shoes are much better.

He's talking about walking around on shingle while you are installing it. When you turn around you tend to slide the soles a bit, especially if you are not being careful, and believe me, that can strip the aggregate from the shingle. It doesn't shred them, but it does degrade them. Do it badly, like turning your ankle while standing up, and you can SEE the damage. That isn't conjecture, that is experience. Pro tip (not a pro, just a term): Don't accept help from your 65 year old father when roofing, Those marks were all over the roof. In other words, he was right.

Cord powered tools are better as far as longevity and strength, they only lack in the mobility area.. you’ll always need a power source. I would rather have or own a corded tool than a battery powered tool. I’m sure ppl will disagree with me.

Just found that Beretta belt easy. $69 retail. So probably was a fair deal for all.

There are several knock-off Lego brands out there. They're different enough to not infringe on Lego patents and thus can sell sets of various licenses. Their quality, I would say, is about 90% of what Lego is and they make sets that Lego doesn't. Overall you can't go wrong buying the set that you want for close to half the price!

As a Dane that lives litterally next to the Lego factory, with multiple relatives working for Lego i can guarantee that fake Lego does not come of the same line as genuine Lego. Theres a ton of fake Lego coming out of China. But its actually easy to tell fake from real by 2 simple things. 1. The way it snaps together. 2. Look inside the Lego bricks, Real lego has a unique interior and the Tubes inside are unique. Lego recently won a huge patent case, based excactly on the interior tubes inside the bricks. Lego is a protected brand, product and design in EU.

The factory is located right next to the original Legoland theme park.
