Fellow Boxer Advice: You keep charging recklessly, he plays the long game, getting you with his jab every time and pivoting to the sides when you charge too hard. Start: using feints to buy time for you to get closer, move your head when getting closer, get closer using jabs and different punches. Remember: if he doesn’t know where you’ll be exactly when getting closer, he won’t jab you to keep the distance. Why? Because since you’re moving, he’s afraid he’ll miss and leave his face open for a counter of yours. It’s a mental, confusing, and quick game you should play, it’s a “timing” and “positioning” game he plays. All of this supposing he’s taller.

I must’ve confused you for the other guy. You’re good. Perhaps work on using your back hand more effectively, while maintaining balance. Throwing a hard punch can throw you off balance. Learn to hit with the back hand without leaning forward. Great job otherwise.

@@Kb2slick When you're shooting your left hand (your backhand), you are overcommitting. See how your center of gravity shifts far over your front foot and that makes it slower and harder for you to get back into position. Try shooting your left hand but keeping your center of gravity balanced between your two legs, or even slightly shifted towards your back leg.

You're more skilled than him just in need of a bit ore staina, and oh by the way when you jab don't lean your head forward as it makes you open for punches in the face
