Wow Evie, your "little orange horse" looks amazing. You have accomplished so much with him. Whatever happens now, you (& your teachers) should be so very proud. Donut is a treasure, so keen to please & learning quickly & listening to you. That was an intense lesson - your instructor really knows her stuff & how to bring about subtle changes quickly. It is such a joy watching your videos. Your love & care of your horses is a beautiful thing. Best wishes 🤗

Really enjoying this. It’s like a real life pony story! The £1 horse that went to badminton! I’d love to know what your doing for yourself as a rider to get ready for badminton, fitness, health, mindset etc.

That was really interesting end very educational too. I would love to know more about the detail of your prep including feeding and weekly work schedule leading up to a big event. Well done, hard work for both of you but good outcome.

Really good session, some brilliant exercises to try out when I get back to riding! Those mics were great, couldn't hear the wind at all, and yours and Lizzie's voices were very clear xx

Go Donut Go coming along fine , have no worries about SJ and XC at Grass Roots he will smash it, Make sure you get chance to practice Dressage on a grass surface, historically that is the thing that throw’s young horses, as nearly all dressage done on a surface or indoor. Am sure you have thought about that in your build up. That 2 to 3 points can make all the difference xxx

Great video. Fantastic lesson. Please feel free to work while you talk, we know you have things to do and you need to get on with it. Might I suggest have a day a week for a long gallop. Badminton is long and the gallop fitness would do you good. You really are going to smash Badminton.

Ah thank you! He’s doing fast work while hacking which incorporates the gallops at our yard so we’re building that up too. My biggest issue with it is I have no breaks on the gallops so I can’t get videos for the vlog 😅 Thanks so much for the support 🩵
