Few people know this but years ago Jin was walking back to the dorm after practice, when he saw a little boy crying. He asked why he was upset and the boy said that he wanted to be a rapper but gave up. Jin started angry rap scolding him. The kid went on to have a very successful career and often credits Jin as his biggest rap inspiration. That little boy was Eminem.

actually, jin is one of the more introverted members of bts (jungkook, jin, yoongi are the introverted line) but he covers it up with being loud and always tries to make everyone feel comfortable by speaking when he feels he should and to break awkwardness. so you weren't completely off in your first assessment hah.

Sometimes I wonder if RM is actually an introvert who have learned to be more like an extrovert because he is the leader. When watching In the Soop you see that he loves spending time completely alone reading etc, like he needs a lot of alone time too. Sometimes I just question wether is actually an extrovert.

Keeping the jokes aside, as far as we know, since Jin comes from an affluent household, he used to spend his money feeding the members good food often during their training days... His love for the other members made him often spoil them with good food so that they could eat something other than what Bighit gave them as dinner.

The whole "you're old" joke and "do you know how much money I spent feeding you" joke is proof Jin and Jungkook are literally siblings😂😂😂😂

The thing is when jungkook come to bighit.. He still a kid and always missed his parents and home.. So jin give him the love of a older brother and father.. Jin is from a wealth family but always love the members and stayed with them in a small room.. And always cook food for bts and jin love jungkookie like his own son... He cooked for him and often take jungkook to meet with his family.. So jin practically raised Jungkookie and love him the most... You can check out jin kook moments their bond is so special...

Jin's family aren't that wealthy actually, they were middle class and his dad's company slowly grew over time, and they got wealthier, but that didn't happen when Jin was young

There r many types of introverts and he is like the confident introvert.

the thing abt jin buying kook food is like an ongoing gag in the group. since jungkook joined bts when he was like 14, and jin is the eldest. he usually jokes about how he raised jungkook. because he would buy him food, and take him, and pick him up from school and stuff (as well as the other members. just jin is the oldest so he had like more responsibility over the younger ones)

it is part of korean culture that the older person takes care of the younger ones by buying food etc., especially for idols who join their companies at a very young age. when JK came to BigHit he was 15 years old and Jin, who was 21, was his "Hyung" and therefore kind of in charge of taking care of the young ones. As time passed it has faded out a lot but Jin likes to remind JK of his "sacrifice" a lot.

Jin in their pre-debut days would often pay for the other boys meals, since he came from a wealthier family, plus he’s the oldest, so it was also kind of his responsibility. And the deal with the Kook is that in the early days, he was pretty anxious and homesick, so Jin took it upon himself to make him feel comfortable. Jin would often bring him to his home and they would dine with his family. Honestly, those two have such a strong bond, I sometimes forget that they’re not blood related. Plus, on the funnier note, members used to make fun of JK for being cheap and never paying for the meals.

Remember that in Korean culture age is VERY important in hierarchy and kind of determines the roles within a group and society. For example, usually the older sibling treats his/hers "Dongsaengs" (younger siblings) by buying food. Within BTS Jin is the Mathyung (eldest member) and JK is the Maknae (youngest member).
