This is so amazing, so many call-backs to great cinema and legendary music... I have always seen Dimash as the hope for a resurgence of real music, because he is immune to the enticement of the music industry (lot of irony there considering the theme of this MV) because he has the resources to stay immune and the following to maybe create a "Beatles" effect... as far as I could see he only needed a "hook" to entice the mass populace in the west to start the avalanche... With "Be with me", "Golden" and most importantly this! I have real hope that it could happen.

The appeal of Dimash imo besides his human qualities is the uniqueness of his approach to music. If he sang only pop, he'd be like everyone else, 'though better (again imo). However, it's his repertoire of crossovers that makes him the go-to for fans like me who love variety in music. His choices keeps everything interesting for his diverse fanbase because he gives a little something for everyone

Dimash could have been more popular (well-known and appreciated by the general audience around the world) if he had sung more pop songs in English. since he is considered as the best voice in the world, plus his singing talent, he can manage to sing anything perfectly in different music genre and in any languages without any doubt. it is only a matter of how the general audience around the world will accept his music. the best voice is not equal to the most popular as pop music has always been and will be the most popular music genre to the global general audience.

If this was your first MV, you should check out his others. I watched it at 4:30 AM as well (I live on the East Coast), but went back to sleep. After watching it 4 more times. Lol.

The run is a very scat/jazz/big band sound. BTW Dimash makes a very sexy vampire. Just one thing. If some people are saying that opera at the beginning is Dimash, it is not. It's a very old recording of the true opera back in 1900 or so. Sorry Dears. It's "The Flower Duet" in the tragic opera, Lakme. The best indicator is the vinyl playing on the turntable.

Not a bite mark. I examined her neck on a big screen seven times with a magnifying glass. There are dark spots on her and the inside of the car that are shadows from the raindrops on the window. 💕
