PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!! Watch Dimash perform this song on "The Singer 2017." Everyone asks for this version because of that D8 note, but it's just one note. I trust your honest opinion and I would love your honest opinion of "The Singer 2017" performance. People say he's an alien so with the orchestration and the background vocals, he took that performance to the highest stratosphere and went on home with it. Trust me. I really would like to see your reaction to this one.

When you ask "How?" the theory is actually very simple. The execution is one of the hardest things on Earth. Most people use lips and fingers for this type of whistle to create this tiny hole. He creates that same miniscule space with absolute muscle control manipulating his vocal folds like that and then squeezes a ton of air through. And, somehow, he then still has the control to add vibrato on top of it.

Because, let's not forget, it's not JUST that he does everything flawlessly, it's that he does everything and does all that flawlessly. There have been singers who were untouchable in the one thing they could do, but Dimash can do it all. Every style, every key, every octave, every genre, every register, everything everything, and somehow whatever of all these every's he does it will be perfect. That's insane... that's never been seen before. Or... point out to me who else?

Dimash wrote this song when he was 19 years old and the lyrics were written by Oral Baissengir, of course in Kazakh. This performance was in Kazakhstan (Gakku TV is a Kazakh television channel. I heard there were about 150,000 spectators and the city center had to be completely closed). There he hit his highest note so far, his famous D8. You don't need to look for this note on the piano, the keys weren't enough for that anymore. Some say the tone isn't exactly pleasing to the ear, but it doesn't make it any less spectacular. Incidentally, Dimash himself said that this was not actually intended. He probably wanted to sing his "normal" G#7, but when he did, no sound came out of his throat. When he started again, the C8 came and then the D8. A 5 second accident with vibrato😂. Only Dimash can do this. And then he continues as nothing has happened. Some joke that he actually sang a higher note, but realized that we earthlings can’t hear notes that high, so he “only” sang the D8😉. I had to laugh when I heard your statement about battling and the competition with yourself.
