You can really see the worry in Connors face when he was taken off of you. He was looking around trying to figure out if he was okay but still wanting to comfort Elle and make sure she was calm and alright ❤️. Great dad from the start Connor

As a midwife myself i can totally agree! Had my fair share of stunned babies and can only imagine how that must have affected the parents

Things I noticed in this video: 1: Connor being so supportive when times were worrying. 2: How amazing our NHS are in helping your beautiful boy to breathe. 3: Heccys fascination with his baby brother was just adorable... the way he just stared at him and took him in. 3: Proud Auntie Katie! 4: Elle looking radiant and doing so well at mum life so far. 🥰❤ Baby Boy is so beautiful! I don’t cry very often over things but leaving that raw footage in at the start sent me over when he finally was in your arms. Such an emotionally raw but eventually beautiful scene.

The way Con comforts you but you can tell how sick he feels ♡ he is looking like his mummy. Sat here sobbing xxx

I did think thou ,- that one of the doctors could have told Elle and Conor a bit more of what was going on thou snd happening . Seeing as they were 1st time parents . At least it all worked out ok in the end thou with being giving you perfect little boy on your chest . What a relief that must have felt . 💙👍

@@jennifersherwood1901 The clips where cut, you don't know what was said privately between Elle & Con, the midwives and the medical staff at that point. No way would they take a baby and not get a member of the delivery team to explain what is going on. At 1.40 Elle told Con quitely to go and he went to baby boy. At 1.44 they where reassured by the intervention respiratory team. When a baby needs extra help to breathe the whole room goes silent because the concentration goes on making the air waves clear and remove any fluid in order for baby to breathe clearly.

In tears, the exact same situation happened to me except he was placed on my chest let out one cry then went silent and was changing colour they took him from me and pushed the emergency, the hardest and longest minutes of my entire life. I sympathise so much with your experience ❤

Oh Ellie 😭 the exact same thing happened with my little boy - born unable to breathe and unresponsive. They took him out the room and worked on him for nearly 20 minutes. This video bought a lot of emotions back for me and I know exactly how you were feeling in that time, it feels like forever doesn’t it. Please don’t do what I did and spend the whole time worrying that something is wrong. My little boy is 2 now and hit every single milestone on time and is the happiest toddler ever, and I wish I just enjoyed when he was tiny rather than worrying constantly. Welcome to motherhood he is beautiful and congratulations to you both and well done you, you did amazing xxx

Horrific isnt it. Have just left a comment, the same happened to me. We panicked for such a long time he wasn't going to be right from it but he is completely fine! I however have severe health anxiety since he was born (just turned 4 now) I think the shock can take its toll and it doesn't always hit you straight away good job the after care is there for you xx

@@SherieAllard I just wanted to reply to you both saying I was born with the cord wrapped around my neck it choked me to the point I had died but the doctors bought me back. I’m now in my 20’s have absolutely nothing wrong with me at all, never have done :) It’s amazing what doctors and nurses can do! 💖

He too, for the first 12 minutes of his life wasn’t breathing and it was such a rush it was the worst and longest twelve minutes of our lives, but as soon as you hear that cry and hold them in your arms, it’s all forgotten ❤ you were both absolutely amazing, congratulations x

I can't imagine how those first few minutes must have felt. I'm so happy that he was okay. When my mum gave birth to me I couldn't break properly and as she was a midwife herself she told them to take me away for help. She didn't see me for a few hours. We are so lucky to have amazing nurses that keep babies alive.

I’m lying here snuggling my 4 month old and this brings back so many memories 😭 you guys are going to love it and I’m so happy for you both. It’s hard work but I miss those days already and they were only 4 months ago! Enjoy being beautiful parents 💕
