I have seen my sisters council tax bill from years ago and at that time the police were coming in at £150 out of a total of some £1300 pa for a small 3 bed house. Probably close to 2 or 3 times that now. Ombudsman badly needed for UK police if one does not already exist. PIP and retraining for lady cop if that is possible, perfromance improvement plan. Some say suspension but that might be too harsh, definitely not promotion.

You are correct, this is exactly what happened to Barbara Streisand a few years ago when she tried to stop some government coastal surveyor taking a photo of her posh house. I cant really recall now what happened but i think she made a huge issue about it in court and then it got in the newspapers. After that every Tom .Dick and Harriet travelled miles to see her house, taking photos from the sea, the air etc, it later became known as the “Streisand effect.” 😊😊

She knew it at the time. Why else would she try to insist she was not filmed before she spoke? Those people set out to create a scene and then complain. This can't go on. The police are paid by us as tax payers to protect us and uphold British law. We have a law that says free speech does not include racist slurs, but not one that says we can't make truthful statements as this WPC pretended to believe.

I'm 70yrs old and I cant believe the way our country has become, we British people are being made to change our rights, traditions and way of life to accommodate non British visitors and immigrants my father and grandfather fought in both world wars to keep our island free. As someone who is a former senior police officer, I have to say the dialog displayed by this female police officer is laughable. She has absolutely no legal grounds to tell a member of the UK public that "you can't say that". She might not agree, but that's the law in the UK. Simple as that. It has nothing to do with racism, and everything to do with these Chinese "tourists" not understanding the law of the land. Brendan Kavanagh is absolutely 100% correct... We aren't in China. Their laws do not apply outside of Mainland China. No if's, but's or maybe's about it. Whilst the officer shouldn't be subject to public ridicule or an official complaint, she certainly could have handled things a lot better. A slap on the wrist and a refresher of what is the law is all that is needed. The focus should be on the "50 Cent Party" for causing trouble.

The trouble is Hal that there are too many videos of Police officers who don't know basic laws and who are completely unable to hold a common sense discussion with members of the public. Was this always the case (and we are just seeing it due to the universal availability of camera phones) or is it an issue with selection and training? When I had similar situation happen to me in Vancouver, Canada, a year ago, I told them what they were telling me was not legally a requirement. They said they have the documents to prove it and I have to comply. I asked them who issued those legal documents but they wouldn't answer so I told them, "this is Canada and no such law exists here". They immediately call me racist for saying that. I never mentioned their country or their rules don't apply here and they still went to their true and tried line of screaming racism for leftist supporters to join in their chant. Sadly, that ship had sailed several years before in the Vancouver area because of its overuse and people were now sick of hearing it.

I’d love to understand why and how these Chinese got themselves into photos with very senior politicians. As an ordinary law abiding Brit, how could I get myself into the company of these politicians.

Chinese saying “no money no talk.” They know our politicians at all levels from parish councils to central government are greedy for money. They want to buy influence to change the narrative on China, ultimately to have leaders in their pockets.

These individuals, if they find it unbearable to stay in the UK in the future, can easily return to China: The flags indicate their inseparable connection with mainland China. Looks like they don't intend to fully settle or adapt to life abroad. After they return, they will still be considered as high-end talents. However, the negative impressions they've already created have harmed the image of overseas Chinese. The responsibility is left for those of us who are respectful of others, and genuinely settled abroad to bear. As Chinese immigrants, most of us are cautious in every aspect, work hard, make continuous efforts to integrate into local culture, silently contribute. The emergence of such a public crisis will lead to an increasingly negative impression and bias against Chinese people. Such incidents have been on the rise in recent years. Honestly, I worry that one day I might be unjustly accused or disliked just because I came from China.

Mr "SHOUTY" is a teacher/works at the University of Central London. The young lady has a KZread channel and she is being sued by someone in China for her recording and publishing them on her channel. This is not China my dear. The woman in the flamboyant dress rubs shoulders with Teresa May and the awful chancellor who's name I dare not utter here but rhymes with James Blunt! Yes…. Chinese interests are now infiltrating educational institutions of all western countries, not just the UK….. 🤔

Wife told me this is all over Red Book (Chinas Social Media platform). Only small parts of the video are shown such as the first bit and the “don’t touch her” clip . It seems to have been taken out of context and a lot people believe that it was a language barrier issue for the piano player, but still think the Chinese group were in the wrong. It’s interesting that the BBC aren’t covering any of this. I get it’s a storm in teacup, but most people are looking it at objectively and certain media outlets suppressing the story is very telling. Even if you take 70% of the footage out, the way the female officer spoke to Brendan was out or order and is another issue on its own.

The police officer should be educated on how to protect UK citizens' rights. He is definitely right. He has the right to film himself and his interactions with the public. I believe that's how it's everywhere where there's true democracy.

I speculate that there is significant shareholding in the Station from funds thar are controlled by the commies and their backers in the PRC. Several ports and Airports in the west are now owned by the Chinese so this could be a distinct possibility.

I think this is my biggest concern with all of this. What the Chinese group said was outrageous but it should have all been resolved quickly by the police telling them to go somewhere else if they were unhappy about being filmed. She made it into a much bigger thing by worrying it was some kind of sensitive incident.

The whole thing is ridiculous. There was one victim...clue... He plays the piano.

If you can get your head around the fact that we are at war with Chynah and the CCP have police stations up and running in every country round the world it all starts to make sense.
