I like the concept of the film. It did great for a movie that looks low budget. Some parts seemed ridiculous though, like how Max became the new CEO in what looks like a short time into the future after the events of the film. Also, Olson's wife being able to kill a trained male guard with a gun to her head.

yes, true- but maybe she was controlled by another player? remember the characters are really one sided.-(lacked any depth) thus it could be that the main character was playing other beta testers who controlled other characters.

We all wish that haha, especially for CoD, they make some of the dumbest business moves, yet want money and they feed on those who don't have a developed brain to make these decisions into buying products. They really do need to be sued for it but I don't think anyone could have 100% solid proof of it sadly. There is a connection just not cold hard proof for a court to rule outright that they are doing it.

Other countries use Knives, Axes etc. 99% of gun violence and mass shootings in America is not done using a legal firearm, instead it is guns obtained illegally. Restricting guns in America would not decrease the number of killings from guns. And no I'm not a "gun nut". I don't own a firearm and I'm not from America. I am just a person who see's logic and actually looks into the facts and statics instead of going with the given narrative.

ALSO within the first 1:40 minutes of the video, the journalist's house is attacked by armed men and he tries to fight back .... with a KNIFE? i don’t understand how Olson was able to kill that many guards near the end, or how olson’s wife was able to kill that one guard that held her captive, also how Max became the CEO so fast despite only being a beta tester and it was never explained what happened to princess or how she got out safe and it also didn’t make sense how no one ever questioned that Max got the exact amount of money that was taken in the robbery at the start or how no one managed to recognize Ulson’s face and know he helped in the school shooting and bank heist

imagine getting a kill streak and you get a AC130. You'd basically eradicate the entire city from the map.

But yeah since it was only cinematic, ergo did not need to be playable, they could have made it look just a lil better imo, textures and lightning and all that. My guess is some producer (moneyguy) said good enough move on, it´s gonna look dated in a few years time anyway and we are not making a blockbuster here

The game in "Stay Alive" looks extremely better and that movie is from 2006

This is a great concept and very original!! They should remake this and have actual budget. Its very much like a Japanese Anime plotline

If the chip didn't have the ability to straight up override actions the military applications would be insane. Two eyes, two reaction times. The ability to do wildly different tasks with each hand (Dual wielding might be viable. Gamer aims the off hand while the soldier aims the primary)

Problem is, a screen would be poor effective at capturing the whole field of view of someone. So it's more of a 1½ set of eyes. Plus, unless you put some progamer behind the screen, reactions times would be very shitty given the average gamer's.

Even if a gamer was 50ms ahead of an average human you should also consider that the average veteran soldiers reaction time may also be different. Even if the gamer is 50ms faster than your average soldier you also need to consider latency issues where the data needs to be sent and received. This would mean that the minuscule advantage is not really worth anything. Another factor to take in is that we underestimate the usefulness of our non-dominant hand. It accompanies our dominant hand from reloading a weapon, pulling out a pin, and putting toothpaste onto our brush. I don't think dual wielding would be particularly useful on the battlefield. This is also leaving out the costs of implementing such a system when you could simply just use the funds to hire another soldier. And also take it this way. If you were the soldier would you really want your life to be in the hands of someone halfway across the country to have temporary control over half your body? Where would your privacy be?

they wrote their way to the tension-filled final fight with the odds stacked against the protagonists, and they wrote the happy end with the plotlines resolved, and then they kind of connected those two and all the loose ends together with a crayon.

If you found this interesting then check The Memories of The Alhambra. It's a Kdrama where the bug causes player died in the game to die in real life. I personally really enjoyed it.

seems like this has been done before, with Avatar, and ready player 1, it does appear that it could be utilized as a defense I wasn't doing anything but watching a realistic video game- grand theft Auto. yeah sure it says its based on true events, but that just means it adds reality they wouldn't sell crime; Would they?
