I am from Yemen originally. Mohammed pbuh at the age of 51 married 6 year old Aisha and when Mohammed was 54 he did it with 9 year old Aisha. It is all in the hadiths and that she was a child playing with dolls. And when Aisha was 17 almost 18 she became a widow. Because she was married to Mohammed she was forbidden to find a new husband and died without children. And Aisha knew she had to talk nicely about Mohammed or she would be punished harsh. I feel so sad for her. All my close muslim friends know this of course and it is hard because Mohammed is our role model and it is hard to find peace in this.

Hamas-like leadership (i.e. eliminate all Jews “from the river to the sea”) continues to lead the Palestinians down a very sad road of resistance and death instead of peace. What would have happened if the Arabs agreed to the UN Partition Plan in 1947 and all the subsequent peace offers which were rejected (Oslo 1993, Camp David 2000, Taba 2001, Ehud Olmert’s offer 2008)? Palestinians would have ended up with more land than they have now, Jews would have ended up with less land they have now and overall there would be less death. Perhaps it would be a good idea to change the strategy. Instead of adopting the "Three Nos" (i.e. no recognition of Israel, No negotiation with Israel, No peace with Israel), the Palestinians should consider adopting the strategies used in the Abraham Accords. Seemingly, the Arab states who have signed on are enjoying peace and tranquility.
