However, honesty and being a judge with fortitude won out and he picked who he thought had the better chance at winning the competition against the other teams. Can't fault the guy for being an honest person instead of just giving it to a pal.

I really feel like you shouldn't be able to block unless they haven't pressed the button yet.

That's how it is on the voice USA as they were the first to introduce the blocking feature I'm pretty sure. This was still pretty new to the voice Australia so they hadnt hammered out how exactly it works yet unfortunately...

USA only allows you to block someone who has not turned yet. And you have to block as you turn. You cant block someone after you turn and then they turn. That's not fair.

It's easier to focus on the performance, ur gonna turn only when 100% convinced and decide afterwards if u want that person so much u don't want another coach to get them. It kinda sucks no coach is safe after they've turned. It's not cool living under the pressure u must turn b4 sb else so u don't get blocked either, like in the US, but it's lit when u got the power over the others in both systems :))

A perfect example of why blocking shouldn't exist.

I feel ya man, I watched my best friend die in front of me because of a mistake at the hospital. I've never been the same man since. It's been 13 years and still I tear up typing this. Man I miss you Ash, my better half was ripped from my life when I was 14.. I hope no kid ever has to deal with what I've dealt with. I love you Ash, rest easy brother.

I have PTSD from the loss of my Son. I take nothing away from Military PTSD. Mine is different, but awful in its own way. I have been blessed to have great medical care to help me. I still have a ways to go, but it is a start. I am so happy he has loving support. It helps so much. I wish him good things ahead. Bless him.

I want to hear a full version back to back at least 10 times. Both the lyrics and melody drew me in so far I was lost in it and didn't want it to end.

Guy’s connection to his fellow Australians is amazing to see. Truly a positive figure in the community.

Delta was definitely not sorry about blocking Guy; & good on Guy for keeping his cool with her because I would’ve thought he’d be blasting her

Guy Sebastian has an incredible voice, and such a humble young man. He must be very popular with younger people as I at the age of 78 am so impressed.

Matt deserves to be heard 101%. He's an absolute beast.

I was attack in my home the Man held a knife to my throat and I was very lucky I had 5 brothers that tought me how to defend myself and I caught him off guard by giving a a very hard kick in his shine and he fall backwards and the knife went under my chin he just must slicing my throat and he got away they never caught him and I have these horrible dreams of him setting on my bed with the knife to my throat and I suffer with fibromyalgia very seriously and I moved away from the East coast hoping the nightmares would go away, I pray every day and night to stop the nightmares, but my psychiatrist says it so deep in my mind and suffering with fibromyalgia so bad, I have to have a caregiver 24/7 to be with me. Thank you I know Matt's fear with this PTSD God Bless everyone 🙏💗

Omg I’m so in love with Matt’s voice and personality....

I went through the exact same thing minus the having a singing voice! My best friend took his life and it turned my life upside down and he left kids behind. It just destroyed so many lives. I shut down, panic attacks, didn’t want to see anyone, couldn’t make sense of any of it! You are my hero. It is SO HARD!!!! Thank you for showing me that someone like me can move through this!!!!!!

I feel his pain. Trapped in my own home with PTSD for the last 5 year's. I wish him well❤🙏🏼❤

Bruises is such a fabulous song. It came out when my dearest bro in law suddenly passed away. It has such meaning. I had to pull the car up and started bawling.

Well, I just found Matts blind audition. so far. that incredible audition made me seriously cry. I cannot understand why people take their lives. Its so sad. Every tme I here that, I only remember when I was a kid, traveling in a car at the time, thinking just how lucky I was to be given an opportunity for this incedible thing called LIFE!! i KNOW it is hard to be a human at times, but, bad times can be overcome and conquered! Damn, take a deep breath.Love and appreciate life and work with what you have and dont have.....

People don’t want to die by suicide,they just want the pain to end.When they do it, the mind is so powerful that they are not even thinking about who they are leaving behind.Mental illness needs to be addressed more in the world.

I have had my issues with mental health over the last 3 of 4 years and there has been days when I have felt the only way to end the pain is to take my life, thankfully I have very good support in place, not everyone is lucky like me! People who have never suffered with mental health are so quick to pass judgement but its something I would not wish on anyone.

Dammit Delta - fucks sake. Guy wasn't only a more compatible coach, but he had a real relationship with the contestant. There's a fine line between selfishness and what's best for the artist - Even if she didn't know about the friendship. Mad respect to guy for saving him.

This block idea is not exciting. What it does is destroys the Voice talented singer from choosing the right couch to help the singer. The Voice was supposed to be for the singer contestant. To improve the singers voice to win. What this Blocking does is destroys a choice for the singer and that is wrong in too many ways especially when 4 chair turns. .

I see where that makes sense but If they did end up wanting them after. They can steal them in the battles if they end up loosing. So if the original coach couldn’t help then they could instead. I think the block and the steal options are great and make the show even more entertaining

This is like my 10th time watching this since Dec2021, at a fairly low point for me mentally with different shit and college, and it was like it was meant to be showing up in my recommended. Since then he's been like one of the only artists I've listened since. Absolute favourite artist now

the "Slide Away" battle is the best battle i have heard so far. Perfect sync between singers and they complement eachothers voice perfectly.
