How were they good? They sat back and time wasted for 90 mins, i am not taking away from them keeping us out but in what way were they "good" The keeper also tried to constantly cheat in the penalties jumping his line Thye were dominated by a 2nd string team with a front line of kids

Yeah, seems like a great bloke. I'm not sure "frustratingly good" is enitely accurate, but they were certainly well organised for the most part. Even when Boddy and Darwin came on they were difficult to break down I felt. For a side two divisions below us, I thought that they exectuted their game plan quite well, up against kids or not. That said, I agree with C C in that their keeper can do one. Their fans, with their shitty, horribly dated Gerrard song can piss off too. 😃

@@siRhc86 you're being a real prick about this. They did their job exceedingly well and yes they did shithouse, but they're at Anfield and up against it, of course they'll do anything to win. Not to mention they're a League One side who have had a really difficult year. There's no need to be nasty

When most managers speak after a game and are talking about the other team, 99% of the time it sounds like they're just going down a checklist of things they must say. This chap just gave one of the most genuine assessments I've ever heard from a football manager. What a great guy.

It’s so refreshing to see non robotic interactions from people in football I think the reason why footballers and managers are viewed so differently is because of all of their constant robotic responses we always hear from em, but then again some of the questions they get asked I don’t blame em, they’re equally as bad! Maybe it’s the journalists that need to up their game Asking someone how they rate their team’s performance after getting beat 5-0 or something is just a completely stupid question
