They new arrangers suck as to be honest don't get me wrong it's not dat the arragment sounds dat bad but if Doc, Mr. Knighten, Mr. Lawrence wrote it, it would sound way better than this is good compared to the other colleges arrangers but compared to da past arrangers dat SU had they wack

+haz Austin Two different arrangement played very well. I love that southern knows who they are and do it better than anyone else. I love to watch southern go up against Tnst, UAPB, BCC, the Old FAMU, JSU and the top MEAC schools. It's always a win win for the fan. The different styles played to perfection is wondrous.

Whether it's Southern, Jackson State or any other HBCU Band, the idea for us has always been to show the intensity of the performance. It's a lot more difficult to do that at a distance. We try to give you all a balance between the band and the dancers. Thanks for watching the footage.

Jsu yall took a L again this year, stop trying to be louder than Southern. The 1996 Jsu band is the best Jackson band ive seen period because it wasnt about how loud they were is was about how well they played their horns. Yall should tone it down and get back to playing yall horns.

Not a band person at all (where I’m from the band is lame as fuck) but Jill Scott would be proud.

Southern Destroyed 2 of their Biggest competitors back to back,. in a matter of Hours apart.. smh.. Some of the songs that would Flat line Telladaga, they didn't even waste their time playing.. Which was smart. Because If you have a Percentage of your band like at Bacchus Lineup and you give Telladaga Hell, Surly your full band would demolish them so Saving you best of the bigger competitor is smart Thing is, JSU came Much much harder previous years than this year. IMO. JSU was a big disappointment and kinna weird saying this but, Telladaga was a better contender. SO.. Now that it's Clear Southern is Beyond Both these band's level I think it's now time to See Telladaga vs JSU fight it out to see who is the 2nd best band of America.

I hate watching HBCU video's because they always doing ask these Damn close ups and you don't see but what they what you to see..

I really didn't like it 😐.. As far as HOW they arranged it, it was ok..I guess I am just used to hearing the song itself. Please don't think that my opinion is with the band itself..absolutely not! This band was one of the first bands that I've heard getting into the college band "know." I just don't like THIS particular song with this lovely band...just my opinion, sorry. 😏
