Winter Soldier is my favorite MCU series. I've always wondered why they didn't give him a non a killing gun. They nerfed him while upgrading Sam. I love the series though and look forward to Strange.

We all have comic knowledge, so we knew one of them would become the next Cap in the near future and then it happened in Endgame.

If Marvel is smart, they should keep giving him bigger roles. Renner is easily one of their best actors and they've been horribly underutilizing him for years. Glad he is finally getting his own show.

Ali is just such a legend at aiming for pure positivity with his interviews. He never asks questions that could possibly make them uncomfortable. Ali, you're the sole reason I click on these interviews regardless of the movie (but especially the MCU ones). Keep it up!

I went through the emotions as well but I didn't shed tears until the end because for a lot of them, they were literally "signing off" of the film and the franchise.

The fact that he didn't even know Hawkeye when he first got the role in Thor but then getting invested with the character through the year and now even acknowledge the West Coast Avengers is pretty cool...

Is it weird that out of the original 6 Avengers and the actors who play them, I always had the impression that Jeremy didn't care much for his role and all the Marvel stuff. It wasn't until this interview that I realized he does very much care and is passionate about the universe he's a part of. Not that his performances or personality off screen ever indicated anything bad, it just felt that way because Hawkeye was always so underutilized and I wouldn't be surprised if Jeremy only showed up to work because that was his job. Especially when compared to Evans and RDJ whose characters required them to be much more emotionally involved.

It was reported after the first avengers he was unhappy with the amount of screen time he got so when AOU dropped and going forward, you can see more of a fleshed out character. I'm glad he spoke up about it.

I agree with every single word. I also think that back in the days I read an article or someone said that he doesn‘t care that much for the MCU.

Ali does the absolute best celebrity interviews. No one else compares. He asks good questions, connects with the guest, and never feels like he's resorting to "how did it feel..." kinds of questions.

Also a guys' channel Jake's Takes does very very energetic and quick interviews with lots of people, honestly wish he had a higher runtime but I guess there're reasons for them being so short.

Hawkeye really is an underutilized, underrated Avenger and easily one of my favorites. Cannot wait for the series to come out and give us all the Clint Barton appreciation we deserve!

What's great about the interviewer is he levels his questions base on actor personality and keep them engaging. I've seen Jeremy in some of his interviews he seems very laid back guy but in this one he is interested in answering questions. I also appreciate that he gives suggestions to Jeremy.

Seems like such a genuinely chill, down to earth guy. Love em🤙🤙

I'm glad he got his own show - he is the kind of superhero I prefer: witty, an actual skill performed with athletic elegance, nicely dressed (no stupid-looking costume), no mask (because, really, what producer would dare to put a mask on Jeremy Renner?), family values and sooo likable. I never ever read any comics, am not a big fan of the superhero-genre (mostly because I have to wait through all the CGI and exploding shit to get to the actual acting, dialogue and story), but I really like the vibe of the new Hawkeye series, as far as the trailers I have seen. It seems like a sort of buddy-comedy, witty dialogue, light and both leads are great - Jeremy and Hailee.

As someone who is NOT a comic nerd/geek/fan, but has just absorbed things by watching a few movies and paying a little attention to the entertainment media (e.g. Cinema Sins, How it Should Have Ended, Honest Trailers), Hawkeye is my third favorite Avenger (after Emma Peel and John Steed). Why? He's so darned ORDINARY. He's no demigod who can control lightning, he's not the result of a super-secret government program, he's no impossibly wealthy tech genius.... He doesn't even have some trauma or mental health issues to deal with. He's just a regular guy - who happens to be insanely good at this one unusual skill. Hawkeye is the kind of superhero that it's actually possible for us to be. After all, when was the last time you picked up a bow and arrow?

Barely, so far the star has been the Kate character, who I do not like so far.

I had the pleasure of interacting with Jeremy through work and the man is so down to earth and hilarious. One of my favorite memories of that job was just sitting there laughing with him about something really stupid for like 15 mins straight! He’s such a good dad too. His daughter is one of the sweetest little things ever. You can tell there is so much love between them

Jeremy hits the essence of Hawkeye right from the first time you see him in Thor! The only thing I would have asked for was more of him ribbing Cap. and Learning stuff from Cap. just like in the Comics.

Yeh! He’s the guy who trains the arrow at Thor in the scene where Thor tries to get Mjolnir from the Shield protection area

You can tell Jeremy really enjoyed Ali in this interview and the interview in general. He was laughing the whole way through and you can tell they were just having fun. He's got great reasons for loving doing the Hawkeye thing. It's just great

He’s honestly one of the only actors I’ve seen truly revel in his character in his personal life and I LOVE it

my favourite quote about Hawkeye is: Bruce Banner: How's he [Hawkeye] doing? Tony Stark: Well, unfortunately, he's still Barton. Bruce Banner: That's terrible.

“He was leader of the West Coast Avengers” The fact Jeremy knows this… I’ve been a fan of Jeremy’s since Gambol in SWAT.

Finally Hawkeye got his own title ❤️❤️❤️ it was long overdue just like black widow. And love Ali for letting your guests express what they wanna express elaborately ❤️

I love that he mentioned the West Coast Avengers without a prompt. Seems like a great dude.

Would love to see Hawkeye stick around to be a mentor for the Next Avengers.

ali listed all the reasons why clint barton is my favorite avenger. because the things that he values are the things i value too. it’s like what loki said-“you have heart”. i love how he cares about people, no matter their past. that’s a super power in itself-the ability to turn potential villains into good people (e.g. natasha, wanda, pietro)

I’m a huge Hawkeye fan and Jeremy Renner is one of the most talented actors I have ever seen on tv and movies,He is truly amazing at what he does!

I've said it, and I'll say it again, Ali Plumb is a fantastic interviewer! He's always got better, and what's more, more engaging questions. The guests always seem to be excited to be there. And with Jeremy Renner and this latest slew of junkets, where it's clear in most others that he's extremely tired and bored, it's an accomplishment.

Really like Jeremy Renner in the role of Hawkeye, Marvel should have used the character much more in the films. Glad there’s now are TV episodes but I do hope there are more. Would have loved to seen Hawkeye as Ronin, plus, Jezza has got a great sense of humour and quality comedy chops!

I’d love to see Clint lead the west coast avengers. Jeremy does an awesome job as Clint

Considering how much he loves his family and how humble he is, Jeremy Renner was born to play Hawkeye. And I’ve always had a fascination of his character even in the comics alongside his counter icon Green Arrow. I’m so glad he’s done well with himself and can let Hailee take the bow as Kate Bishop. (Get ready for Young Avengers/New Avengers)

He looks and sounds so humble, Hawkeye was and still is so essential part of Avengers. This interviewer was right pointing out the stats with Hawkeye in and out. I am enjoying Hawkeye series so much, and I must say it is by far the best Marvel series in Disney+. Funny, there are some misleading news that Hawkeye have low viewers or low rating, I am definitely not among them and I rate this series very high. Jeremy Renner is great as a Hawkeye and I hope the character stays alive, for we as a fan, would love to see him participating in future Avengers assemble. Fingers crossed.

Ive always loved hawkeye and hes always been my favourite avenger. The interviewer did a great job interviewing Renner. In other interviews he comes across as an extreme introvert that starkly contrasts with the roles he plays, like Harrison Ford in interviews vs. Harrison Ford's characters.

1. I would pay money to go see avengers the musical. 2. I love him being hard of hearing in the show because after all those explosions and battles and such of course his hearing isn't what it used to be, he wasn't wearing any ear protection!!

I'm glad he has perspective on it all, because I can imagine how easily it could be overwhelming. Hope he's enjoying it all.

He played a great asshole in The Hurt Locker. I was so happy when he became one of the 6 in Avengers. Honestly, I didn't expect Hawkeye in the roster (nor Black Widow), but it IS canon that he's one of the original Avengers and it's a humbler time in the MCU anyway. I saw Avengers in 3D in an early press screening and it was one of the best movie theater experiences I've had to this day. I started crying when his signature credit came first, and I'm glad he sticks around.

Can't wait to watch this series! Loved Jeremy's shout out for the West Coast Avengers.

I think around 2016 I was riding my bike home from school in Hollywood and Jeremy walked out right in front of me . Fortunately I didn’t hit him. I stopped and we made eye contact for like 5 secs . Out of all the MCU series so far this is my top 1. It's more relatable and realistic and he's an original avenger so that's make it even more special.
