Oh his brother was being selfish?! First of she shouldn't have said yes, she is an adult not a child. Secondly why out of all the women out there he chose to fall in love with the woman his brother was going to marry (even if it's a fake wedding; that's none of his business). Not to mention he is like 23 & she's 29. Like kid grow up first before you come & indicate to people what to do. And BTW I don't agree with a fake wedding whatsoever. But people are allowed to make whatever right or wrong decision they want.

She learned many things just for the sake of acting and at some point ji han triggered her giving a chance through nepotism which others back talked on her. This made her miserable. She wants ji han to get hurt at that very point and boom and we came here so far in that journey😂

Ofcourse, he will be the one helping them when he comes to know the truth. So all 3 should open up at this point and live guilt free for their choices❤

What ji han said is true. Cant we see his pain? He was all alone in that house with no one to share or care. He thinks everything is a punishment because he caused his parents death. Thats miserable and painfull. He was struggling just for his brother's sake and thats his way of protection and a kind of promise for his parents as he is taking care of his brother. I know do han doest not want any of this. But did he take care of his brother? Just beacuse of that one secret he left his brother there inspite of knowing how his grandfather and sibilings treat him. Doesn't it bothered him? As ji han said in an earlier epsiode, dont keep secrets from me. I will feel left over. It was just a cover he felt already that he is left alone and it hurts when you brother hided a big secret because he did not trust you. Even after knowing the truth he felt for his brother "I am itself anxious, how my brother handled this alone". He is still that sweet boy caring for his brother. The fight between them is like a storm which will only bring calm after their fight.

I agree but from another perspective, coming out to someone can be extremely scaring and challenging. A lot of people are saying that Do Han should have trusted Ji Han enough with it, but I think there’s also the underlying fear of acceptance that Do Han always feels, plus he was bullied for it as well. It also doesn’t help that his family is in the spotlight, so him not wanting to take over the company can be added to another worry for him (potentially causing harm to them) I understand Ji Han here, and I do agree with most of what you’re saying. I’m just saying that Do Han’s side needs to be considered. It can be the hardest thing to do

He didn’t force her to marry him, she is an adult, and she also wanted to do, same way she helped him in High school till they graduated, even then it wasn’t his idea she did it of her own accord so don’t blame him, they made him look like a bad guy when they fell for each other and never had the courtesy to tell him all they thought about was themselves and were even planning to relocate, just so people don’t judge, now tell me that ain’t selfish, also the younger brother has been selfish right from the beginning just because he realized his brother’s secret doesn’t make him a better person, coming out is a very hard thing to do especially to your family and also in a place where homosexuality is frowned upon so give him a break, and don’t blame him from trying to escape from all that, he already had a traumatic experience with his ex which made him leave the country for 5years, just because he doesn’t want that to repeat again and judgement from his family especially his younger brother doesn’t make him a bad person, it just means he is scared of rejection.

I see a lot of comments saying the guy is selfish so he's probably the best character and will end up being my favorite when I watch this drama.

I'm on DO-HAN's side and Ji should shut up, that's my whole opinion to this tbh....

He’s isn’t selfish. It’s taboo to be a queer person as a matter of fact he will continue to be unhappy but he chose to be marry because of his family pushing it on him. He won’t ever be able to live his true self. The brother just wants the girl and the only way he can shamelessly have her is if the brother chose not to marry her. One wants to protect himself from being an outcast while the other wants his brother women (regardless of the fact that he’s gay he knew that girl was his brother fiancé plus he didn’t even know the wedding was fake but still pursue her)

I don’t get how ppl are like “evil dohan” as if Jihan hasn’t assumed everything and pushed his assumptions or what he wants onto him. It’s his decision when he’s ready to tell his family he’s queer, there’s nothing selfish about that ESPECIALLY after what happened to his ex boyfriend. Because he feels responsible, because it could happen again.

She agreed to marry do han in an impulse to provoke ji han when he disturbed her career in the name of nepotism. Later She agreed to help him. Ofcourse do han offered the money in the name of contract. So She took that as a job as they showed her acting as friend to a bride in the first episode. What unexpected was her falling in love with jihan. So that took a turnover. Everyone are blaming do han not for the contract, here the brother still doesn't know about the fake marriage. He is just confronting why he left him all this time just to hide that he is gay?

ok so, from our pov, dohan left to new york to enjoy his temporary freedom leaving his little brother alone among hyenas (I consider his step family as such), after returning he immediately get a girlfriend which what makes jihan suspicious and eventually fall in love with FL. for his brother happiness, jihan decided to give up on his love, this scene happened after he found out dohan is gay and is marrying for his own benefit, he doesn't know about the contract so from his pov this will probably look like dohan is using FL for his benefit. all this while dohan didn't show much care to jihan

Dohan for the sake of his secret, he goes to New York living his bestlife and left his little brother ALONE struggling, fighting amongst ALL their families members who hated them since their birth. Lol wait twice? Sorry but chaewon was never engaged to dohan bc both parties didn't want it so it NEVER became official. She also chose to marry someone else back then over dohan so are you saying she betrayed dohan by liking someone else too? 😂 jihan having a crush on chaewon as a KID isn't a big deal. Plus, she was never dating or attached to dohan, she was always closer to jihan from young. As for ajeong, this fake gf/marriage was never meant to get this deep. It was a plan that was supposed to fail but unfortunately succeeded and put them in a difficult spot of having to go through with it all the way. Since this marriage was a scam in dohan and ajeong's pov though, both never took it seriously until they were in too deep to back out easily + when jihan stopped bothering her abt it, she herself was able to realise everything she was giving up and losing bc of this fake marriage. She realised the only person who'd benefit is dohan, not her, but she tried and failed to tell dohan every time bc seeing him happy made her feel guilty abt wanting to quit for her own happiness and peace of mind. She tried so hard to be selfless for dohan but she was really hurting inside and dohan NEVER noticed since he was too busy worrying abt his own problems with his ex. As for jihan falling for ajeong, dude was already falling for her before she was dohan's "fiance". Are you forgetting that he knew she was a fake gf in the start? He also knew she accepted the proposal bc of his mistake, not bc she loved dohan. At some point, he realised he cared too much abt her which is why he backed off & ajeong's plea to him abt accepting the marriage made him concede too. But his plans to get over her fail since dohan brought ajeong over to their place (it's amazing how oblivious dohan is to his brother and ajeong's feelings when even their acquantainces can pick up the tension between them 🤷🏼‍♀️) Then Jihan finds out dohan cannot love ajeong and make her happy. He also thinks dohan is using her for his own needs one-sidedly which is why he wants them to stop the marriage. He genuinely loves her and wants the best for her so he doesn't want ajeong to be miserable by making the wrong choice since marriage is a big deal. Ajeong also realises how unhappy jihan (+ her) will be bc of this marriage since both realised they don't want to be in laws so when jihan keeps failing to give her the answer she wants when she asks him, she gives up and tries to accept being dohan's future bride. Eventually both reach their breaking points which is jihan telling her the truth abt his feelings and probably thinking everything would end there but he didn't realise ajeong was also at her limit since she was in love with him, not dohan, and jihan's confession snapped the remaining resolve she had left bc even for a sec, she wanted to be selfish and be happy like her loved ones told her to be. Anyway, neither jihan nor dohan are perfect ppl but failing to recognise that dohan is selfish and ignorant to the plight of his loved ones says a lot. Jihan was immature and determined to guarantee his brother's safety in the family without really considering why his brother didn't want any of it so he kept doing stupid things but he's grown and learned since then bc of ajeong. Dohan needs to do the same.

Yeah… Now I understand-it is selfishness on the Casanova to have a loved one be blinded by the truth rather than have their eyes opened; laid all out on the table… The messed up part is keeping secrets for a long period and finding out from unknown people. It's what ruins a relationship and a file for divorce-(a lie is a bullet that can either shoot or miss). The man needs to be straightforward with his significant other; (have a one-on-one chat) with her. She cannot be blinded by it otherwise she’ll be in a state of hypertension. The man needs to tell her the truth. On a side note, I, sure, do like K-dramas; (keep them coming)~

Everyone thought Do-ha selfish but Reality is they both brother selfish the FML also selfish.. Do-ha LGBTQ character he just wanted to live alone.. it doesn't mean he don't care about others he just tired of protect himself... Ji-ha is lonely character he have no one to share his problem.. when he knows about Do-ha, FML going to marry... Then he started to date his brother's future wife wah.... FML know about Doha... If she knows then why said yes to Doha for marry her it's already annoying... Okay alright if she wanted to help Doha then why she started to date with ji-ha🤷🙄 So not to blame anyone.. enjoy this drama.. they are just characters .. ok so, from our pov, dohan left to new york to enjoy his temporary freedom leaving his little brother alone among hyenas (I consider his step family as such), after returning he immediately get a girlfriend which what makes jihan suspicious and eventually fall in love with FL. for his brother happiness, jihan decided to give up on his love, this scene happened after he found out dohan is gay and is marrying for his own benefit, he doesn't know about the contract so from his pov this will probably look like dohan is using FL for his benefit. all this while dohan didn't show much care to jihan. for the dating part, he only started dating FL after finding out dohan is gay not before. The fake date before doesn't count even if he had feelings for her since his purpose at that time was not to date her but to make her break up with his brother cause she was suspicious and might ruin his brother life (even tho it was all a fake contract). Half of this would have been avoided if dohan and jihan communicated with each other, jihan might be stubborn when he wants to make his brother a CEO but being gay factor had a high chance of changing his mindset

It's interesting how the gay characters in movies are always in traumatized families, showing they end up with such attractions because of bad relationships with fathers and mothers and other horrible things that happened to them

I thought that he knew that he was gay but he didn't he just saw him as being selfish. SPOILER ✨ I REALLY LOVE THIS DRAMA and the added confrontations. The manga is good but the DRAMA IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING...... I wish that the would stop making me bawl😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 like a baby though.
