💯 I love how with come creativity and some hard work people can do so much with so little! Dan has definitely put out some amazing content for the world to enjoy!

Fabio Leone was touring in Brazil and he accepted Dan's invitation to come by and sing with him. This was big day for Dan. To sing with one of the people who were instrumental in Dan's decision to become a metal singer was epic. Fearless is a top notch band. The lead guitar is Gabriel Belozi, bass guitar is Davi Vasc (Dan's younger brother) and Giovanni Rezende on the drums. Fearless did an album - songs are on Dan's chanel.

@@ellenduebrynjulfsen3394 and @setonhillstudios -- Yes. Davi has two channels: Davi Vasc, and Davi Vasc's Gaming Journeys. He has some really interesting stuff on the first one, and the second one is done live, with an audience...loads of fun, as well. I don't usually get to watch those, because they are much longer (like 3-4 hours long, usually), and I have a ton of other things I need to get done for my own channels. I watch bits and pieces, though, and they are great fun. I try to watch the whole other ones as much as possible, because David doesn't WATCH the play-throughs he receives. He only LISTENS to the music being played in the game, and then tells what is happening, because of the music that is being played in the background. He's very accurate. He misses once in a while, but not often. He also explains a lot of music theory, while doing the guessing, and explains WHY certain types of chords are used, etc., and why they "speak" for the part of the games being played. Also...he COMPOSES OSTs! His ENTIRE one is the OST for the game "Coromon." I bought his digital track AND the one that a favorite pianist of his played from the digital original. Both versions are FABULOUS and GORGEOUS! (You can find them on Bandcamp.)

This was absolutely wonderful... can't wait for you to come on down the Vasc rabbit hole... you are in for a Great Ride❤ He was sooooo happy that Fabio was willing to work with him on this one. Watch his face... it is written all over it. And this one is a little better than the other... but only because Fabio was in it. 😁❤ Thank you so much for the great reaction!!

So just to let you know, Davi Vasc on bass guitar is Dan's brother. Gabriel Belozi on Electric guitar and Gio Rezende on drums. Loved your insights. John Schlitt, the lead singer of Christian rock band Petra, is the person who first influenced Dan to become a singer. Great reaction! Dan has a video about the 5 vocalist that were his heroes, That he wanted to study and incorporate in his voice. Fabio Lione was one of them. So I’m sure he was on cloud nine singing with him!

As others have said, all four of these guys have been together since childhood - I think I heard Dan say that he and Davi met Gabriel and Gio in church. I love Fearless and am hoping for a new album from them (and also from Spyglass Inn, Dan’s acoustic project with Gabriel). I really enjoyed your enthusiastic and knowledgeable comments. You’re right about Dan looking so happy to be singing with Fabio, and also so respectful and deferential. And thanks to Linda - great idea! The base player is Dan's younger brother Davi Vasc. Gabriel, the guitar player is his friend from school and not 100% sure about the drummer, but I think he is his friend also. It's a terrific piece if work.

The drummer is Giovanni, also a good friend of Dan’s for many, many years. Gio does some work for Dan to help him with daily social media stuff & some editing. David, Gabriel and a Gio all have their own KZread channels if you’re interested in getting to know more about who they are and what they are passionate about. Music is a big part of their lives. Video games too.😂

He started with a web cam and progressed to a camera phone and then a camera. Same with lighting. He said it will never be good enough if you wait for it to be perfect.

@pamm4376 -- Most KZreadrs have had to stop with the extended outros, because sometimes people don't watch all the way to the end, which cuts off a significant amount of the monetization that a Tuber brings in. I always watch for PINNED comments that Dan has a tendency toward, these days (he used to do both, from what I've seen, but now it's usually just the PINs, if there's something really important he wants to get across).

Dan has videos on several other channels as well. Most of the ppl he colabs with have a video of them and Dan. His Thunderstruck with Orions Reign is OMG HANDS DOWN THE BEST!

Quick correction - the first Dawn of Victory was not the very first video on Dan's channel! The very first one on his channel was The DragonForce Singer Audition video, that he put up on April2,2010. He did it again 10 years later, The Last Journey Home 10 Years Later. Dawn of Victory may have been the first one that he did all the production on himself, but it wasn't the overall first one ever on his channel.

What was being used for info, though, for this reaction, was Dan's own Description, as quoted below: "If I had to choose one band that gathers most of the elements that define my personality as a musician, it would be Rhapsody Of Fire. This is the first cover which I produced in its entirety. 100% of this instrumental (not my voice of course) was made through midi VSTs programmed and arranged by me. I hope you guys have fun watching it as I did making it. :)" I mentioned that in my comment, as well, just a bit ago, when I finally was able to get online and watch the original one.

975K right now, for Dan. You said Fabio's name correctly. YES! I agree about the influence Fabio had on Dan, and you hadn't even seen/heard all of it at the early point where you picked up on that. Also Dan's voice, in the space of years between matured SO much! Another thing that is so tremendous, is that you can understand all of their vocals, IN ENGLISH, when BOTH of them speak a different native language (Dan -- Brazilian Portuguese; Fabio -- Italian). Dan, of course, also speaks quite a bit of Italian, due to his grandmother's Italian influence on his father. Yes...FEARLESS has an entire (just one, but another's in the works, we've been told) 12-track album (that is biblically-based -- a full story, told in a Tolkien-ish way) on all of the music venues...fully produced by THEMSELVES. They do NOT go through recording producers. There's quite a story behind that. They produce everything, themselves. Regarding the camera...Dan started in his new studio with ONE camera and ONE of the special lights (after studying out exactly what he needed. Then he added a second one of each, and I THINK that I read somewhere that NOW he has three of each, though I think he only uses what he feels is necessary, and he's SO good at deciding those things. Oh...and...THERE IS NO CAMERA-MAN. The cameras are programmed. At this point, I haven't heard you ask who is who in the FEARLESS band, but I'm going to answer that question, even if it never gets answered. Bass Guitar (white shirt & shaved head): Davi (dah VEE) Vasc. Also, I'm not sure if you know that their last name is actually Vasconcelos. Dan's first name is Daniel (Dan YELL), and as far as I know, Davi's name is just that. I have a hard time getting it typed out correctly when I do this type of identification, because my husband's name is David (both names mean the same [beloved], and that last "d" wants to sneak out of my fingers -- I type about 220 wpm). Interestingly, our pastor's name is Daniel. Since he's from a Mexican family, it's actually pronounced very similarly to Dan Vasc's name as well. Life is so strange sometimes! Also, I believe (especially knowing that Roberto -- their father -- and their mother raised both boys to be strong believers in the Lord Jesus Christ), and that their two names were NOT given to them by any other reason than that they expected their boys to BE as strong and courageous as both David and Daniel were, in the scriptures we can read, now. So...down to the horns and violins...they were in the original...quite natural to the band. That's why Dan programmed them into both of his covers. Can we still call the second one a "cover," since Fabio was right there? Yeah...I suppose so. 😀 The other two FEARLESS members: Gabriel Belozi (pronounced GAH-bree-ell Bell-OTZ-ee) is the "whatever guitar we have available or sounds right" guitarist. Giovanni Rezende (pronounced pretty much as you see it...the Gio is Joe, I believe...either in the full version, or when he's just called Gio) is the FABULOUS drummer. MAN, those hands and feet FLY, don't they?! ...and so PERFECTLY! Gio also is whom Dan calls his "media guy." He posts the reels that appear on both Facebook and Instagram every day, and (laughing) he seems to love to pull pranks on Dan when he does so. On one of the gaming ones last year, Dan and some others were playing Worms (it's a real game...my grandkids love it, though my daughter isn't as big a fan), and he said a couple of things where he stopped twice, and said something like, "Message to my media guy...DON'T publish that clip!" So what did Gio do? Yup, of COURSE! (They've been friends since before school days, I understand.) He published BOTH clips, and we all got a LOT of laughs out of them. There have been others similarly posted, since then. Lots of fun. 😀 The guitar comments about the adeptness both Davi and Gabriel produce, reminds me that another connection to this big mix of all the Rhapsody stuff, is that Fabio now tours with the band Rhapsody which is HIS band, now, AND with Angra, which is the Brazilian band for which Luis Mariutti was one of the founders. Fabio is Angra's LEAD SINGER, now! You can catch him on Facebook, and see where his tour(s) are headed at the moment. Neither of you has yet reacted to Dan's and Luis' WONDERFUL version of "Black Wind Fire and Steel." I do NOT want to spoil it for you, but, PLEASE...if anyone requests it, GO FOR IT!!! You will not be let down, in the least -- especially if you want to see fingers FLY (and Dan go over the TOP)! Also...forewarning on that one, please do NOT leave off the outro...it's very, very important.😀 Thank you SO much for your GREAT reaction to both of the "Dawn of Victory" videos. I have had a LOVELY time watching and listening, and making my fingers fly. You two are SO good at this reacting thing, and I very, very, very much appreciate what you do and HOW you do it. That’s awesome that Fearless does everything in house, no need to go through a record company when you got this kinda talent though! I’d stay independent as well! That’s wild that all of those cameras were programmed, that’s some serious front loaded work! I had read the credits and the description of the musicians playing, but I couldn’t remember them all since they were new to me 🤣 That’s so awesome that they were given solid biblical names and raised in the faith! God definitely blessing them and I pray he continues to do so and they remain faithful! Thank you so much for the kind words about our reactions as well! I honestly don't have a "favorite" Dan song; I like to say that my favorite is whichever one im listening to at the moment. That being said, The Sound of Silence (his 2020 version, though the 2016 one is good, too!) will always be special to me as it's the one that became my portal to Dan Vasc's absolutely amazing music! Thank you for the showing Dan’s 2016 version and newer 2022 version with Fabio. I had no idea how good Dan was in 2016 with the programming and production of his first production (the back wall yellow sound material distracted me.) Now I can now appreciate how good he was then. His early videos were mostly good, but If you had seen his recent work, they were less polished.. It is so fun to see him grow. In one video he said his philosophy was - Do not wait until things are perfect. They will never be perfect. The things you learn from the doing and the experience are what will move you forward and make you better. This is not exactly what he said but pretty close. I am now trying to live my life like that. What a great and inspirational influence he has been.

I like the original version with just Dan, but absolutely love the more recent one. Spectacular in so many ways. I'm not sure if Dan & Fabio met because of work on one of Sir Christopher Lee's metal albums, but I know Fabio sang with Lee and Dan had done some background music or vocals (maybe both). Dan said that, when Fearless was doing their album (Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom), Sir Christopher Lee had agreed to do the narration for them. However, before it could happen, Lee got sick and passed away. It was sad & unfortunate.

Angra (lead singer) & Rhapsody (his own band -- the latest version of the band by that name).

dan has said that the day he first saw Petra performing was when he decided he would be a singer. His hands are busy playing fast & furious, no time to wipe sweat away, so he gives his head a quick, sharp shake to solve his dilemma. (That’s some intense playing!)

@@setonhillstudios He sure was! And when he plays video games he has what he calls a “Tactical towel” nearby if it’s a hot day…Brazil can get pretty hot.

Your pronunciation of Fabio Lione was OK. Don't know if you know Rhapsody, but if you don't dive in. Best band on the planet when at their prime. Try Symphony of the Enchanted Lands. Fabio is with Angra and the new album is a total banger, but their label are assholes.

@@setonhillstudios On Rhapsody, there are three bands. The old pre-split Rhapsody/Rhapsody of Fire, the current Rhapsody of Fire with only one member of the original band and Luca Turilli's Rhapsody that reunites the others over time. Go with the old stuff first, though Luca Turilli's s stuff will sound really good to a prog fan. Symphony of the Enchanted Lands, Eternal Glory, Magic of a Wizard's Dream ft. Christopher Lee. Try Carry On, from the first album to get into Angra or Ride Into the Storm from the latest one, if you want to risk a block.
