I tested chat gpt, perplexity, Gemini ai with same prompts. And I can say for a fact perplexity is just so so overhyped. It's just a chatbot which can answer question like a robot. Whereas gemini gives real human like answers and was really helpful

he is a content creator, he gets more views if he mentions IIT, he wont make more money if he starts being considerate of other people's feelings. Besides if someone really was going to do something big, they would 100% not be demotivated by watching something done by an IITian. Doesn't it ? Please correct me and let me know where I went wrong in observing. So I would be happy I learnt something today. You simply came here to judge someone without even knowing why they said that. As they way some people usually do.

Web is free to access for all, even if Google completely shuts down, you will still have alternatives like duck duck go, bing search etc. It is possible for them to build a better search engine than Google, as explained in the short perplexity's goal is to create a different kind of search than traditional search that provides links to websites It is basically asking AI to generate search answers for you, since it's relatively new there's a chance they overtake Google here, still google and other big companies probably have a better chance due to their sheer size and networks.

No one can replace Google in this 21st century 🎉

As a perplexity user myself, it is fantastic.

Honestly, i haven't gone to google in a while. Perplexity is so good. It gives very relevant answers and good resources attached to it.

Its crazy I have been using this for many months its just amazing and give answer exactly but not same random link

I do use perplexity and it is really the most useful ai tool I found as a student, in-fact I have used it many times instead of google for various research projects from my school and it truly makes my job simpler by giving the exact info that I want and not bombarding me with unnecessary extra stuff.

It’s a great tool. I have been using it for a long time and I can’t un-use it.
