I don't know why ANYONE would think that the Son is alive. Anakin killed the Son years ago.

This would also explain why Sam Witwer is in the end credits. If I'm not mistaken, he was the Son's voice actor in The Clone Wars series. So maybe he's not just a voice for some unimportant side character, but actually for a big one.

The Daughter literally is living through Ahsoka, and as the Spirit owl Morai, so if she can reincarnate the Son and Father can too, the Son’s motivation of destroying the Jedi and Sith is exactly what Baylan’s motive is, not to mention the Son and Daughter were worshipped by the Dathomirians on Peridia in the ancient past, there’s nothing pointing to Abeloth and too many connections pointing to the Son

@@lucaricci1987 Nope. The Daughter died after saving Ahsoka's life. The son died period. So did the father, and Anakin was to take the fathers place. Abeloth is directly connected to the Mortis gods. So it makes more sense it would be something like her instead of being the son again.

Yeh it was never said the daughter was living through Ahsoka. It was speculated that the owl was the daughter's symbol. That speaks to a soul or a presence in the force and not Ahsoka becoming or being possessed by the daughter. If they completely throw out most things about Abeloth like her being imprisoned in the Maw by the son and the daughter and change it to "somehow" Abeloth is at this planet in this other galaxy.@@zairman

Ever since the show began

I think both the Aftermath series and the newer Thrawn trilogy talked about a powerful dark power far, far away. It's why he was building those secret outposts for finding it and was so interested in how the Chiss use force users to navigate deep space.

*It's either Abeloth, Kujet, The Son or something new. Or even something not connected to the Mortis. Can't wait for episode 7 on Tuesday.*

Abeloth will be brought in as more of a spirit than a physical entity, they will find her, she will kill Baylan Skoll and Inhabit Shin Hati’s body, and either ally with Thrawn, or fight against both fronts in the battle that is to come.

I like the idea of Shin being the one who's taken over. We know that balen it most likely dies by the end of the season because of Ray Stevenson's passing (And we're all saddened that he's not here to experience all the accolades he's getting for his performance).

Peridea possesses the pivotal element to permanently alter the equilibrium of the Force. Baylan obviously feels compelled to heed the beckoning of a formidable presence emanating from there. What if Abeloth had been imprisoned at Peridea by the ancient order of Nightsisters, and she’s drawing force sensitives to her in the hope they release her?

After watching Ep 5 of Ahsoka, I'm really starting to buy into the theory that Anakin has ascended beyond your garden variety Force Ghost but has finally inherited the mantle of the Mortis Force God known as The Father, having live in both the Light and Dark sides of the Force, he finally knows what it means to find Balance in the Force as was originally prophesied. He wasn't ready to take on this mantle during those Clone Wars eps but he was finally was ready post ROTJ. Qui-Gon was right from a certain perspective, his timing and interpretation were just a bit off 👍🏼

Hey Theory, I loved your take on who the night-sisters may reanimate. I said this EXACT thing to my dad after hearing Thrawn ask about Ahsoka's master and such. It would only make sense to be someone significant enough to slow Ahsoka down. It would also give the Anakin scenes more meaning. It would complete them. Although, I feel like that wouldn't be the only threat. It would be amazing to see Abeloth, or the Vong.... or someone that becomes a new and greater threat for season 2 or a movie.

If its not a zeffo or Kujet himself then honestly could be completely new but the zeffos make to most sense when related to baylons desire to end the cycle too, they started out light side and ended up dark side then most importantly i think they left the galaxy to find another better way to live, they could hold the answer baylon seeks.

It's possible that its Abeloth reaching out to Baylan, since the father daughter and son are more than likely dead.

The name Mortis gods, in Latin mortis means death, the ones are literally named the Death gods, and th Daughter reincarnated as Morai, so it makes sense that they can be reborn, especially since the Plant life on Mortis does this same process every day

What if the night sisters have also called out to Merrin from Jedi Survivor? This would be an excellent time to introduce Meyen and Cal if thron makes it back to the original SW galaxy. At this point Merrin believes all the sisters are dead, so she would be eager to help if she received a message from them.

I think it was you that was talking about a previously talked about Rebel’s Sequel show, and mentioned a description of a character that’s been working with Ezra, Red Skinned “Amphibious” huminoid dressed in “Aztec” like attire. Starting to look even more like Zeffo origins with the recent translation of this carvings in the show and the fact that Kujet has been shown in game having Red skin. I feel like we’re going to get either Kujet in person or the essence of Kujet calling to Baylon.

I hope it’s abeloth. I’d also love it if it was the son, but I do want to see abeloth at some point

The Daughter could be reincarnated, she’s Ahsoka’s convor Morai, so the son being reincarnated in Baylan makes sense

Brother I won't lie I love the theories coming out about it being the son or abeloth, but deep down I think he's just sensing ezra (don't get me wrong, I hope I'm wrong to be honest it would be such a missed opportunity for something great like the son or anyone else from legends 😂) But do you remember before the series came out we had rumours or maybe outright confirmed ezra is very powerful now, being without his saber and his skill in the force apparently after 10 years he's become like a martial artist with the force. Either way I'm looking forward to it still and regardless what happens, I got faith in my boy Dave, he's bringing it home for all fans now! 😊 Love you my brother theory! The line that got me was when ahsoka the white fought him and he said “you know you cant destroy me” it was almost like he was acknowledging that they were opposite ends of the mortis god balance with anakin at the head

I rewatched the morris episodes. All though they all died, they called themselves the beginning, middle and the end. What off what Baylon is seeking is aboloth, the original unbalance that started the force down a spiral trajectory. Also known as the mother? And perhaps anikin is now the father, and Ashoka is to become the new daughter, hence why he tested her affinity to the light, and baylon can be the new brother?

I swear, you fanbois speculating anything from Mortis being involved is hilarious. This show is literally a follow-up to Rebels. The Mortis arc was a handful of episodes that ended in Clone Wars. It was never touched upon afterward in any notable primary source. Why would you think there is any evidence here?

Rebels had a mural of them, on Lothal prior to the World Between Worlds element, and of course, Ahsoka has that owl creature follow her, but they DO NOT have full on discussions with them, or about them on the show. A few small non-verbal references doesn't account for shit. At best, it's a throw back/easter egg.

What do y'all think about the Abeloth theory? Baylan becoming the son and Shin getting absorbed by Abeloth while the Grisk attacks would be insane. Bendu has to show up to save everything, I think Bendu is the embodiment of the Father. And Baylan is a retconned Starkiller, the secret apprentice of Vader

My dude, someone already translated runes from the temple on Peridea that mention Kujet, one of the Zeffo from Jedi Fallen Order. In a way, i think that's more likely.

In Episode 6, the episode starts with Huyang telling Ahsoka a story about how the galaxy began that she really liked. In Clone Wars, Mortis is outside of Space and Time. All of the Son and Daughter's powers come from the Father, and given that the magical elements of Mortis start to fall apart after the Father dies, I think we might be looking at a time paradox situation and Peridia is Mortis "after the fall". Two things that support this: In S4 of rebels, the imperial scientist interrogating Sabine describes that the stories of mortis gods have always been important stories to the jedi. We also learn that Peridia is also directly related to the stories told in the temple from Baylan and Huyang. Everyone in the temple also knows of the "chosen one", and Anakin's destiny that would bring balance to the force. We know from the mortis arc that this destiny is Anakin taking the place of the Father to bring balance between the son and the daughter. My thought here is that the creation of the force as its known in Star Wars begins at the end of the arc on Mortis. When the Father dies, the story "a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away" would begin. Baylan also drops a lot of hints to support this too. He stoicly does not want to kill Ahsoka, and his relationship with Anakin is not explored, which is especially weird when you consider Ahsoka doesnt even know who Baylan is, despite the fact that he is supposedly a general in the Clone Wars. He has a relationship with Anakin but is never seen or heard from. It is also possible Baylan somehow knows that Ahsoka inherited the power of the daughter and that Anakin was still the chosen one even after his death. The easter egg of Baylan's watch listing all the skywalker descendants may imply he knows the skywalkers are key to this mystery. He may have also baited had Sabine go with them to Peridia to bait Ahsoka. The mothers were very worried about her being there at all, too, even though there were other characters that also had force powers on the planet with them. We also know now that Baylan is looking for the thing that will "stop the cycle", and the shot of him looking into the distance at a glowing light glowing from a building that looks suspiciously like the Father's monastery in Clone Wars, including the surrounding mountain ranges. The architecture also looks very similar to how Mortis' structures looked in Clone Wars. The Dagger of Mortis was also retrieved from a cavern that had a lot of green flames, and seems to have some common elements with Talzin's blade. Another thing to consider. In the world between worlds scene, Anakin prepares Ahsoka, seemingly knowing she had a big destiny to fulfill as well. We also already know from Rebels as well that different points in time are also connected through the Force. If you look at Ahsoka's story as a saga, she technically died on Mortis during that arc, so her being back there is kind of a full-circle moment and set the stage for a REALLY interesting adventure if they do a 2nd season. It would also symbolize her returning to where it began, potentially marking the end of the cycle and maybe even foreshadowing her fate. An even more fringe idea: If the Son survived and the Mortis arc is indeed the beginning of time and the force, it is possible the Nightsisters could've been created from him trying to resurrect the Daughter. This would create an especially interesting twist if it turned out that he wasn't able to resurrect the daughter because Ahsoka has the Daughter's powers, because then it would give a context to why Baylan would be being lured to Peridia by the Son. Restoring the Daughter would indeed hypothetically bring balance back to the force, and Anakin is definitely guiding Ahsoka through this. Lastly: What if the ancient first jedi movie they want to make started off with a recap of the mortis arc and explains how the nightsisters and jedi/sith formed after the death of the mortis gods. :o There's also the fact that peridia looks like the world where life originates in the movie Prometheus, and there is the obvious christian parallel of Anakin being prophesied and born of a virgin and the connection he has with the Father.

I feel like its something tied to the old republic, possibly the Rakattan Empire. They mentioned them in Andor and I feel like Baylon and Shin's outfits even give me an old republic vibe.

You clearly read all the books. Much appreciated, love your stuff. My best guess at this time is the “real” sith that was mentioned in legends but never fully developed.

Baylan isn't trying to have himself possessed, that's why he trained Shin to be "so much more". Baylan plans to harness the presence that's calling him (likely Abeloth or the equivalent), and he plans to use Shin to do it, all for "the greater good". (Insert Hot Fuzz meme here.) I also think Baylan is being played/misled by what's calling him.

1) If it was the Son, the Nightsisters wouldn't flee because he's one if their deities. 2) The son was killed. I know the dark side still exists however it doesn't exist in an anthropomorphic form.

On top of all that, here comes Ahsoka. I think Dave is going to make her the counter to whatever Baylan is doing/becoming, maybe even the Sister will give her a boost or even possess Ahsoka, especially if the Son does that to Baylan. Could be one EPIC confrontation, and that would be peak Lucas :)

Something that would totally pull at asoka’s heart and be a menacing foe for her to face. Thrawn is a collector and this is a powerful piece that he would have never given up. It would make more sense if Abeloth was the one reaching out to Baylan. All 3 of the Ones are dead. I doubt Filoni will use just one of the 3 to try and possess either Baylan or Shin. It makes more sense to use Abeloth since she will become one of the biggest and most powerful villains in Star Wars. I know she first appeared in The Fate of the Jedi books. But the connection to Mortis and The Ones is definitely there. Maybe if she appears, she can literally confirm every person she tried reaching before finding Baylan. What I'd love to see is her possessing Shin cuz not only would she have absolute power of both sides of the force, but she'll also have whatever Nightsister magic that we haven't seen yet. And to think, I was so excited to see Thrawn. I had no idea Filoni would cause me to not even care about Ahsoka and Thrawn! He's nothing compared to Abeloth!

I believe it is Abeloth, I was watching your video and you mentionde her being able to draw force sensetives towards her and would also use their enegry. Whch would be a likely way baylan dies because he lkely be a main character anymore because of rays death. Also when Bendu saying he saw thrawns defeat, as a ton of arms grabbed him in a cold embrace, this could be Abaloth as (forgive me if im wrong) she is a shapeshifter and can take the form of something with many arms

Hear me Out! What if Baylen is already possessed by the son. He was using Morgan the whole time to get to this galaxy so he can find his “Mother” Abeloth. It would make sense why he said it was a shame that he had to kill Ahsoka because there are so few left because it is his sister and they only have 3 mortis beings left. Just a thought I think it would be awesome if they brought Abeloth into canon and I think it would be a great way to do it and to show her full power.

I agree, also the fact that in the mortis arc the son wanted to escape that place, commonly trying to take the shift or take control of anakin to then escape mortis and go to the real galaxy (that the father mentions) the son also was the only one left and I believe he has been trapped in exile perhaps here to then point others in the way.. also to mention the sons voice at the beginning in the map room (nightsister planet) which also has night-sisters on peridia. Can’t wait to figure this out!

Hey Theory believe me no one would rather see a connection to Mortis in Ahsoka, but I just rewatched the Mortis arc from the clone wars and realized, the father and son both died at the end of the arc. Anakin stabbed the father and son with his lightsaber after the father stabbed himself with the relic dagger. I feel like this closes off Mortis as a possibility here, do you think the Zeffo is a more realistic option because the nightsisters used to warship them?

Man I would love to see more of the Mortis stuff. I always thought it was very interesting. I love this Theory!

I suspect the lightsaber colour was no deeper than giving the costume/effects department something to visually differentiate him on screen. "Which colours haven't we done?" "Uh, orange, sort of."

I feel that Theory is looking a bit way into this. Star Ward films and series are not made for extreme sweaties. it is made for standard audiences.

I really believe that if the Original Trilogy was a Space Opera, the Prequels a Political Drama, the Sequels should have been a Spiritual Journey. Balance was restored because of Anakin, so the sequels should have been exploring what balance actually means and how to maintain it. With Luke and his Jedi Order going on a quest to uncover the deeper truths of the force to gain clarity and ensure something like the Sith never rise from within the Jedi Order again (Because in legends the Sith did originate from the Jedi). This of course would have involved Mortis to some degree and perhaps even have Abeloth as the main villain of the Sequel trilogy. Leia should have been seeking a way to make sure the Republic never falls into the depths of corruption like the old one did. Another way to view it is if the Prequels were Anakin's fall, the Originals his redemption, the Sequels should have been about Anakin's legacy.

Makes sense. Like we have the daughter being Asokha and then Anakin who has both sides and is the embodiment of the force as the father(eventhough he said no to take that position), so we might as well have the final piece being the son who then would be Baylan Skull

The Son is dead and Anakin killed him after The Father was stabbed. Anakin has taken his place as The Father, keeper of the balance (the light father, and the darth vader). Ahsoka, being followed by the owl, may be the new Daughter. *Someone* may still become the new Son, but he's not necessarily alive to do that. That said, we can't throw out the Zeffo symbols are in the background. We also can't throw away the possibility of Abeloth as well. Heck, we can't even rule out the possibility of the Yuuzhan Vong even now as some sort of extragalactic threat.

Could Ezra be calling out to Baylan or have been corrupted by whatever’s calling out? Thrawn seemed to know more about Ezra than he shared and wanted to stay clear of him. He wasn’t actively looking for him and refuses to send more troops. Could it be that Ezra was the one who killed all the soldiers that used to wear those uniforms?

My theory is we're seeing the re-embodiment of the forces - the Father (Anakin), the Daughter (Ahsoka), and the Son (not sure on him yet), but they've gone through a massive transformation. I think this lends credence to Anakin helping Ahsoka to become Ahsoka the white, and the parallels are there from the original Mortis arc where Anakin embodied the Father, and Ahsoka was imbued with the life force of the Daughter. I think the foreshadowing has been there the whole time, and it's only going to become more clear as this goes on.

I'll be honest, when I read the books I thought it was clearly referring to Abeloth since later in the Legends books Abeloth was calling to force users from her prison.

Abeloth possesses shin, that was her plan. Balin doesnt know that It takes luke, grogu, cal, asoka, sabine, balin, gungi It takes them ALL to imprison her again, shin is lost and baylin sacrifices himself

I'm surprised you didn't mention that we heard The Son's voice/whispers in the first episode in the nightsister's Temple.

I know this has nothing to do with the video, but I was doing a playthrough of Jedi Fallen Order when I had this thought come into my head during the Ilum mission. When Cal falls into the freezing water, the younger version of himself pulls him up. I noticed that the younger version of Cal walked towards the crystal and into a light source, only to disappear into nothing. It may be a longshot, and idk how this could be further proven, but I think the younger version of Cal possibly found a way into the world between worlds and went into the future in order to save himself. Now I don't necessarily believe this to really be the case, but I can't stop thinking about it.

My memory could be wrong, but I recall being surprised that the mortis beings referred to the galaxy and not the universe. So if their purview is galactic, then I’m not sure they’d be in play for the extra-galactic experience. Additionally, if the thought is anakin is the new father who provides balance, then the son theoretically wouldn’t exist at this point, if not only because anakin is the balance of both sides so he doesn’t need an external light and dark side personification.
