I also have mad respect. Poor Miss Marion has a lot to deal with. Aging parents for which you think you have a sister to help you with and then all of a sudden you lose her and your nephew. Then in the middle of all that, you have to go and testify and dredge that memory up.. Coming back to court a couple weeks later and making an impact statement and dredging all that up again? No thanks. I think I'll conserve my efforts for things I have real control over. And no reason to put her parents through that either.

I think many people are fascinated by the psychological side of this horrific crime. How can a successful, supposedly happily married family man do this? Birmingham City University's study of family annihilators found 4 types of family annihilators- self-righteous, disappointed, anomic, and paranoid. Murdaugh fits into the anomic type. These are the ones that equate their family with financial success, and once the money isn't there, the family becomes meaningless. I remember looking this phenomenon up after it was mentioned in an episode of Law and Order, and was thinking through the whole trial that this time it wasn't, sadly, a fictional case.

That's right, and I believe that unfortunately there's a lot more madness to come to light regarding this awful situation.
I was impressed by the closing argument of Walters " The gathering of the storm"
These prosecutors did such an impressive job! They left nothing unturned! I think that they convinced even my beagle that Alex had committed that horrible crime! Thank you prosecutors! ❤👏👏👏

Man I just watched the documentary and boy the whole family is gross. Mom, dad, kids, Grandpa etc. There are so many victims outside of this incident. All needs to come out

Have watched this Trial from beginning from Dublin, Ireland. What a terrific prosecution team and true justice for the victims. Cannot believe he still claims he is innocent!!!! It is now so sad for both families for their loss and to come to terms with what Alex Murdaugh did to his wife and son. May God have mercy on his Soul.

I believe first responders and police were met by that GOD OL BOY..out there..I'm positive he manipulated them from the second they arrived, he was spinning his usual yarn..it was his way of life..lying.. It took Waters grilling and annoying everyone, with his pounding TRUTH into every conversation that finally showed where TRUTH was.. Incredible work..all of them..up to n including the judge.. JUSTICE WON..it was swift n true..

And...with Paul's "brains at his feet" who would check for a pulse? I haven't seen any mention of this.
@mrjasondylan
Жыл бұрын
@@moonfall8972 I thought the same when I first seen Alex mention that but I put it down to shock. In reality I doubt very much he took their pulse it just made him sound innocent in his head. Same way he asked cops on body cam are they both dead, he knew the answer but was trying to act innocent and concerned. If either had took a single breath when cops shown up they could have whispered who done it before dying that's the only thing he was concerned about and the reason he asked police that question.
