This is a worthwhile project

His aspirations are admirable, but I don't see this being a complete reality due to modern day California politicians. Even if federal funds are invested, there won't be enough support or funding from local government, as this will probably be a low priority for them; though you never know.

The government restores rivers all over the country where there’s not near as many people to enjoy the fruits of that work yet when it comes to urban rivers they move slow if they make any moves at all it’s such a shame a missed opportunity and a disservice to the residents who have a right to be connected to nature and her abundance

So....what DID happen to that 1.6 billion?

Dont forget the radiated rainbow trout downstream from ssfl in simi hills in chatsworth!! Site of biggest necular meltdown in u.s. history In 59. Belched out necular contaments for 14 straight days before being shut down. ( no containment dome ) { thats 24 hr days for 14 strait days } Especially dangerous in a 10 mi. Radius![ hot they call it 😱😖🤔] from the " HILL" ITS in the dirt, trees, rooftops, of surrounding areas---- lasts for 1,000 's of years they say😮'❗❗❗

We need to stop damming up rivers and river valleys. Its WRONG.

1. We have to stop the serious homeless problem. Not just keep building new housing for them. 2. We have a serious crime problem. 3. Most of our water & sewer mains are over 100 years old. I think this is a low priority.

The funding comes from different pots of money. This river project had received federal funding through the army corps of engineers.
