What does it say about his own colleagues in the Republican Party, that he openly lied to them about what he would say to Trump and they still accept him as one of their own. He basically shat all over them, and they've come back and asked for more. How is it that they aren't all furious at what he did and said? That is a crime; but so is withholding congressional-approved funds, disrupting congressional activities, and attempting a coup. Now … which crime was the worst to be committed? Why wasn’t he convicted of those crimes? Because of political partisanship, not moral responsibility. That, in itself, ought to be considered criminal, not only for that behavior, but also for nefarious business practices.

Don't forget that the former president would have happily seen people jailed, or even executed, if his coup had succeeded. It's critical to shine light on what the insurrections were doing and all those involved -- they were the people in positions of power that would have supported the corrupt political incacerations and executions. As Mr Riggleman said, the corruption involved all three branches of government.

we are not a democracy. we are a republic with a few democraticaly positions, most of the federal poistions are appointed, so it becomes a winner take all scenario rather than a comprimise most of the time

When he described the bizarre and fantasy plagued texts and said that “no one was pushing back”, that is a problem. It’s one thing to blow off steam on social media, but these were private, specific directives to the guy who was answering the phone for the president.

I might be wondering if these facially weird messages were in turn a code for something else more mundane (whether ethical or not) -- of course that's to assume the people conversing via them are not immersed in actual beliefs or an irresponsible level of make-believe. This would be an additional level to crack if so. The lack of "pushback" (or queries about the meaning of it all) might in that view indicate a group understanding of why that method of communication if it's a code. There of course is also the possibility that it really is a quasi-religious thing that's pulled in a large group of souls with a preternatural draw. Perhaps it would be wise to engage experts in bizarre spiritual matters. I've seen them and fought their power in the power of God, but not to the extent a purposeful researcher might. It's such a curious pot of jabber and machinations. It also looks to me like something that sooner or later will meet its doom and fail. If it is, then getting frightened of it would actually be a mistake. Wary, watchful yes; frightened no. When God goes head to head with the devil, God inevitably wins. Pray to God for salvational power. No, not kidding. Pray. As a Christian personally I can warn and vouch that true salvational power will be accompanied by the need to personally sacrifice. It isn't a quick-and-easy thing. However, these sacrifices will not be in vain.
