He Got Injured And Fell On The Ground. Then A Bear Heard His Moans It Did The Unthinkable!

Trapped, alone in the forest, and face to face with a Black bear, Joshua Lopéz was in serious trouble. He was moments away from certain death and praying to god for help. After letting out a desperate moan though, the bear did something totally unexpected, leaving Joshua to wake up in an even more puzzling environment.

The hiker who became injured while trekking through the woods, was quite fortunate that the former park ranger’s bear, Phelps, found him and alerted his human friend. I suspect we could all learn some valuable lessons from the wild creatures we share this planet with, if we are willing to have an open mind rely on our powers of observation. Amazing that Phelps exhibits such compassionate behavior towards both humans and others of his kind. Quite an extraordinary bear, to be sure!

I love this story! I encountered an opossum in the garage of my house. Greeted her then left dog food and water. I never saw her again. but the was gone each morning. After a couple of years, another-opossum appeared in our upstairs front porch. She was curious and didn’t care that our 3 dogs rushed over to inspect her. But she was on a long cabinet and couldn’t be reached by our dogs. Our 8 cats accepted her as family. She has stoped now, and as her lifespan was 2 to 4 years, she stopped coming last week. I believe that some animals understand that we can and do help hem. Forgive me for going on, but I miss Blossom’s furry face and nightly visits! 😂😢❤❤❤❤❤😊

I live in an area with lots of bears, but you wouldn't know it. They are very shy and afraid of humans. I only know about them because I see their droppings everywhere when I'm working. Our local creek is called "Bear Creek" for a reason. There are also homeless people who camp out along the creek. Still bear attacks are unheard of. Every once in awhile a bear wanders into town and they have to tranquilize it an take it back into the woods. There is even a white "spirit bear" that lives in the area. A coworker of mine has a picture of it on his phone.

Animals that hunt for food don’t hate humans, it’s only their prey instincts that cause them to act hostile. Animals know when people are helping or rescuing them, and can become tame. They have even been known to lead lost hikers safely out of the woods. ❤🐻🐱

Black bears that get close to people know there is food nearby, or have predatory intentions. DO NOT assume this story constitutes normal bear behavior, or even accept that this could happen to anyone. No matter how close a person is to a bear, it is still a wild animal, and a powerful apex one at that. This story of Phelps is very unique, and heartwarming. What are the odds that Joshua would have had his injury take place at that time, in that place?!

You are exactly right, in my opinion this whole story is a made up AI concoction that’s dangerously irresponsible, there are already far too many people out there who think nature is cute and all the animals want a big hug from us. Just look at how quickly this outlook goes south in the Yellowstone park with buffalo, or elk or several other species that people have no business going anywhere near them. Western culture hasn’t done its people any favors by idiot proofing every aspect of our life (walk, don’t walk signals) nature rarely gives second chances to people who make stupid choices.

You have no valid reason to disagree. 🙄🙄 It’s a simple zoological fact that a wild animal will operate as they are natural born predators that prey in the wild. It’s nature to them and requires respect in their natural habitat. Recently, a man was camping was having coffee at his fire pit got mauled by a bear! The bear showed up out of nowhere and ripped the man apart and died!

Bears and other wild and domestic animals react to different scents sometimes in an aggressive way, either thinking it's food or a hated enemy! And sometimes they have young in the area. Many animals try to avoid humans as a general rule.
