I love the tough love ludwig is giving to EE, telling him point blank this is how hundreds of thousands of people are going to look at him and that type of scrutiny can and will stick with you for a long time. especially since cheating isn't the only problem with this episode. even if in the end he admitted to his wrong(s) he still ruined the show in the moment for the host, other contestants who were/might've been playing fairly and the people watching. On top of that people seeing Miz's reaction to EE's celebration can obviously see he doesn't think this was won fairly. Not to mention this adds more black lash on Miz and his show because people are still cheating either for money or so they don't look "stupid". even though 90% of these questions are stuff we were either taught over a decade ago or not at all.

From my experience, it is very rare for cheaters to cheat only once. They may only get caught once, but they usually have a long list of other times they've cheated. Sure most of those times we wave off as harmless, but where is the line drawn when cheaters clearly benefit from cheating?

@@jorjepetersondale9182 I'm bringing the question up not to suggest that I would do something like that, but rather to defend EE. By all means the controversy is well deserved, but some of the death threats and such that he gets is just too much. I'm simply asking the question to reflect on what EE was really thinking about. Temptation happens all the time, wether it be retaliation or overall doing something you know you aren't supposed to do. Your response is reasonable and in fact is the correct response in my eyes, but I wasn't exactly suggesting that I would do the same, but I was suggesting that if it came down to it, most people would at least hesitate for a split second before making an ultimate decision. Edit: I guess I'm trying to humanize him without defending him but it definitely didn't work and just makes me look bad in the process.

  • @TheSpacePlaceYT

@@jorjepetersondale9182 Rereading my comment I honestly feel terrible. I thought that I was only humanizing him by saying he's not the only one, but by doing so I've torn down myself. What I meant vs what I said honestly didn't translate well, and this will be something to remember in the future. Just as a note though, I didn't attempt to compare each scenario, and the scenario in question actually wasn't what you said it was. The question was not "Would you save someone's life by fracturing another," it was "Would you kill someone for taking someone you loved", which are entirely different and is definitely warping my character in an unreasonably extreme manner. Looking back, I sound like a completely different person, even if the response was only an hour ago. I still believe that his "temptation" was a reasonable explanation, just not good in a moral sense. This is something to remember in the future, and I probably should have never said anything in the first place. If there is nothing else to add, I will end it here. *Edit: Despite everything suggested about me, I am completely rational and I believe that my morals aren't as scuffed as they sound. I guess so many people take situations way too far, and hearing about EE getting an unsettling amount of hate, death threats, and more at that medium, I felt like I had to defend him, which made me exclude the very reason why he's getting all of it in the first place.*

When there's a prize on the line for a competition, especially a CASH prize, the argument of "Just own up to the mistakes of cheating and you're redeemed" goes out the window in my eyes. He effectively stole money, which is a felony in most of the world. He got caught and ridiculed while guilt-tripping others by pulling the race card like he's done before, and then when he realized he wasn't gonna get away from his crime, he fessed up for ONE of the problems, and not the entire competition. Sure, we'll never know if he cheated the entire competition, but there's a nice little saying about liars: "Once you've caught someone in one lie, it becomes a whole lot easier to catch them in other, bigger lies." Most times people that lie start off small, realize they got away with it, and keep going bigger and bigger till they get caught, where they then admit to lying. That's the path of a pathological liar, and I'd not be surprised if EE was one. With all that said, I reiterate: There is no forgiveness for someone committing a felony/crime, only justice in a court of law. They will rightfully be known as a cheater hopefully for the rest of their life, and will feel the guilt of almost allowing himself to steal 50k from the rightful winner of the competition.

Yeah. Watching interrogations a lot, there seems to be a pattern. They confess to smoking weed a few times to show they are being honest but the weed confession is just a tactic to hopefully get across as being honest, so they later can deny the more serious charges. No way this dummy didn't cheat from start to finish. Probably even first round which he won, including the pines episode.

We've all made some before, some little, some large, but its how you act while no one is watching which says more. I'm from Norway, and we actually learned about Jean-Jacques Rousseau and the 'Social Contract', pretty sure I've learned about him twice during my education even. Once briefly in high-school, and once more in depth in Uni. In Uni here in Norway (we don't really have 'college' here, just University), every person has to take a course called 'Ex-Phil' though their bachelor degree. It's just kind of basic 'philosophy', the point of it is to encourage 'critical thinking', any student studying at Uni needs to at least have some background knowledge on basic Philosophical history to complete their degree, regardless of the type of degree. Some might argue it's pointless or stupid, but I honestly think it's pretty good. Regardless of what kind of job you're going into, it's useful to be able to think independently, and know your moral and human rights. That being said... I would have totally blanked on that question myself. Because although when I heard 'Social Contract' I knew I knew who wrote it, I had no chance recalling the name on a time limit 😂. People will make fun of streamers on the show for what they get wrong and stuff, which is a big reason why many cheat I think, to preserve their pride. But pretty much every person will struggle to recall things they learned years ago, particularly when under time pressure and on a time limit.

At the end of the day it’s his show, this is how he decided to run it, and he’s getting more views from the cheating. Wins all around for content. Last comment I'll leave on this video is I can't wait too see you conquer KZread, lol. Not usually keen on listening to people just talk about stuff like drama because it is a very biased topic to tackle. But you do it in a way that's funny, relatable, thought provoking, mindful of growth, all while voicing how you think to metaphorically get others either on the same boat or blowing gusts of there thoughts towards said boat to change the path all our thoughts drift by everyone changing the direction of how we sail our beliefs together XD. The hope is we can align in a way where we can find our destination without sacrificing each others needs even if it means having to face more icebergs than expected. For example, we may have good and bad people, but the world only feels right because we have both to keep balance and not just one to make life a complete perfect/imperfect place. Sometimes, this balance feels out of wack though. To the point where we either can be too forgiving or not willing enough to forgive.

Gotta say for the Andrea one, they were told to put chat in emote mode, not turn it off, that was only like the 2nd episode or something. And she lost to Captain Puffy or something who just was googling shit or something. I also think part of the problem with Miz is he constantly does this 'troll serious' thing, so no one ever truly takes him seriously. Even with Mia she was so obviously cheating and he called it out a couple times and she was clearly jokingly responding and he just let it go...so it was like he's totally just joking and he's not serious at all. Also very minor thing, I think the EE part with '128 - 44.55' I think that is 125 and he 'crossed' the 5 like to 'break' it like the .55 breaks the 5, it's a 4 now, minus 4 is zero. That's not exactly how that usually works, but I think that's what that is, a 5 with a strike through it, not actualyl an 8. Not saying he didn't cheat, of course he did, but I think that's not a correct example

In my college medical terminology class the teacher used the same tests every single semester and my friend had stolen all the answers and copied them the semester before. So when we became overwhelmed by Anatomy & Physiology 2 class work plus the lab we would just memorize the test for medical terminology.
