Study the bible before commenting on Spiritual things. There are a number of people who fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. Moses, Elijah and Jesus Christ. I believe it is Spiritually possible.

The story of a man fasting for 40days and 40nights is just an unnecessary exaggeration. It cannot be done.

The man who did that kind of Fasting is called APOSTLE JOSEPH AYODELE BABA LOLA. Founder of CAC, you can research about him. Moses in the Bible fasted 40 days twice without food and water. The presence of God satisfies more than food and water we need to mature spiritually that is the dimension God require of us his children.

It is not medically advised and even Apostle Arome, in a different sermon, has warned people not to go beyond 3 days without food and water except they sense a special enablement by the Spirit of God to do so. It is not impossible. It just requires special quickening that suspends mortality to accomplish it. Remember Jesus fasted for that long after the Holy Spirit descended on him at the Jordan River.
