DonVon... I am 65... been in lots of bands singing writing originals in the late 70's - early 80's...and also did covers... My first concert I attended was in Vegas 1977... Boston's first tour...More Than a Feeling.. I saw Fleetwood Mac Dreams tour in 78' along with living through so many classic to current artists over my lifetime... and NF has grabbed me so deep with his artistry and ministry these last 3 years like no other artist has ever done before... There is some thing special and annointed about this Dude NF... God surely heals and blesses other through him and his sacrifices.... as He also has through you... Peace.. ;)

NF is Legendary

This song and "Let You Down" are really the only songs that he refers to his dad. Not much is really known about him at all except that when he found out that Nate's mom's boyfriend was abusing the kids, and he had to take them away from her. He doesn't take meds because of his experiences with his mom's drug abuse. He mentions that a few times in several of his songs that you've already reacted to. Unless you listened to his songs every single day, or at least regularly, you wouldn't remember that from just reacting to a song once. I really enjoy your reactions so much! Much love❣️✌️

The last verse is one of my fsv and then he pauses at the end to let it truly sink in to us all. Love when he does that. He thinks through the production as an artist and listener. You did exactly that. You took to pause to take in what he said.

This was a great song by NF. I know he has a line in this about us forgetting him. No way! I bought records and cds that will keep getting passed down to my sons etc He is not on pills because of the drug abuse from his mom and even his own wife lost her father to suicide and she dislikes pills from that. They are both very very healthy with their lifestyle.

Sometimes I sit outside and just play this song cuz I finally get a moment alone and I just cry. After sitting in silence for a while after the song and crying I feel a little more prepared to face the rest of that day or tomorrow

Nf if the goat! This was my first song introducing me to nf and it couldnt come at a more needed time in my life! But i feel He always plans things in his songs, double meanings of words and i always felt he said leave the negativity in my head, i heard leaving the negativitiy MIA, cause its hard to get rid of it all, just something i felt i heard. But this song will always speak to my soul Just was always something i felt i was the only one who heard it

The reason he doesn´t do meds is becaus his mom died at a joung age from taking pils. He talks about this in the song ´How could you leave us´. It is his most emotional song.
