I am listening to you, Fr Mike, from the West of Ireland. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have been led to this channel (I have no doubt that God used the KZread algorithms to that end), and even more thankful that you answered His call to become a priest. I was listening to you last week telling the sometimes torturous story of your vocation, while driving to Dublin. I was bowled over by your honesty, and it was also a painful reminder of how I myself have resisted God's grace in my life, oh so often!! Every time I listen to you, I feel refreshed and nourished. Admittedly, most times the ‘refreshment’ is akin to having a bucket of cold water poured over my head, but how I need that cold water to keep me awake and stop me from relapsing into the unreality of the world’s ways! May God bless you always. You certainly are a blessing to me where strengthening my faith and the desire to share it are concerned!

What more can we, I say about Father Mike, his homilies make me think, scare me. My white garment is stained, and I would be speechless in front of God. All Catholic priests should have the same impact. God bless you Father Mike

Today Is the Feast of Saint Teresa of Avila Virgin and Doctor of the Church: Born in Avila Spain in the Year 1515 Saint Teresa reformed the Carmelite Order with the help of Saint John of the Cross. In the years and following the Ecumenical Council of Trent She contributed to the renewal of the entire ecclesiastical community and reformed the Carmelite Order and was met with much resistance. She succeeded with undaunted courage and Her active life did not distract Her from contemplation. She wrote several works of Asceticism and Mysticism Her most notable book was The Way of Perfection. She was proclaimed Doctor of the Church in 1970. She died at Alba de Tormes Western Spain in the Year 1582. Saint Teresa of Avila Virgin and Doctor of the Church Pray For Us.

➕️God be praised. Father, i am listening fm India. I pray our priests will listen and go after their lost sheep and pull them if need be, as you said "by the hair" and sometimes it's the good sheep who have to pull their priests by their hair. Bless you Father.

The most prevalent excuse today, Padre, seems to be: "Well, I've got miles of fence to run today...and you know I gotta "Test-Sit"...every single mile of it...

Father Mike, do you mind if other priests plagerize your sermons? You're an exceptional talent to do a difficult job right. We have a priest that has a similar message but is not inspiring and can turn people off.

Catholic's sure do love eating the body of Christ and drinking His blood; but run away when it comes to doing all the rest of what Lord Jesus Christ says or commands. The leaven of Catholicism is Hypocrisy.

Our Garment of grace (also known as the whole armour of God) is one requirement @wedding of lamb and bride, lest ye forget there is the other requirement that our Lord Jesus Christ knows you and that ye are one of His. For His sheep are known by Him and know His voice.

As someone who recently discovered a very devout and believing old rite, I can say that I left lukewarm Catholicism. It's not the congregations fault, nor even the priests. They all struggle with what Bishop Barron describes as dumbed down liturgy. It produces lukewarm Catholics, but the young generations that I see at TLM are after something deeper and want their beautiful heritage back, for spiritual reasons.
