There is several things you can do to train him faster, i hope you know those things and do them and dont just accept it. Its important that YOU are the leader and the dog doesnt think that hes the leader, thats extremely important. But if you do the usual things to train him and you are not letting him assert dominance over you but you do it over him he will feel safe and it will get better and eventually he will be clean.

That's not true, at all. It could be a lack of boxes, it could be a medical issue, if your cat isn't spayed/neutered it could be a new neighbouring cat, it could be anxiety caused by other reasons, trauma, age etc. It absolutely doesn't have to have anything to do with how comfortable the cat is around it's owner. Don't spread stuff like this that can make people feel like crap for no reason.

Lol you dont have a cat do you... its not pee he was looking for. As pee and spray are not the same. Some male cats spray, usually unfixed male cats. Although if you treat them well and give them attention in adolescence during which the time they start getting loud and wanting attention (female cat attention) male kittens tend to get louder before they spray. You can avoid them from starting up, usually when a male starts spraying its very hard to get them to stop, neutering will usually do it but not always. Females can also spray when they're, usually when they are unfixed when it heat Although very unlikely compared to males. Getting your cat fixed, is usually all thats needed to solve this issue. Although cats will find somewhere else to piss and shit if the literbox is too dirty, they will usually find a corner, under something, pile of clothes or towels, etc.
