Most people think his jealousy is too much but I think he’s been straight forward and telling her that it bothers him a lot . Which is pretty normal since song siya keeps chasing yuan and flirting with her in front of him. Everything would stop if yuan didn’t hide the relationship so boundaries and limits are made . She’s not doing it so it leads to jealousy and possessiveness.

@Gina Cortes ------- I agree with you, he is jealous with good reason, since Song Siyi keeps making it clear he is trying to be her boyfriend ... Qin Shen loves her ... she is keeping their relationship secret ... she's trying so hard not to hurt the feelings of everybody, but She hurts her boyfriend's feelings repeatedly. He feels disrespected and not very high in her priorities. After she told her rival that she had been wrong in taking so much care in trying not to hurt her feelings, and that she really should have been caring about not hurting Qin Shen's feelings ... and once she made public their relationship he eased up on the jealousy.

@@luvsdvds exactly ... some people just see the jealousy and possessiveness as too much but I think they need to consider the whole situation to understand . In addition main lead personality is just straight forward and not outgoing like SL . Is just the way he is too . Not every main lead needs to be the typical romantic boyfriend .

@@ginacort23 --- Very true! The lead has definitely a sincere direct personality, which is one reason why it bothered him so much to be involved in an underground romance. LOL One of the things that makes the story interesting to me is that the two of them are about 19 years old, this is their first love, so they are both learning about that feeling called love. :) Also, the fact that opposites attract comes into play. She is very cheerful and outgoing ... and Qin Shen is much more reserved. He is even reserved with his dorm mates and doesn't share much about his love life with them. His sense of humor is more of a dry or quirky type, too, so things that he says as a joke (like his comment of not wanting her to get close to a male mosquito) so some viewers may not recognize it as humor. Being the wife of a quirky husband and mother of two quirky sons I am an expert on sarcastic, dry, quirky, and wry humor. Never a dull moment ... but always interesting, though! LOL

I like the way that when he expects more from her she looks at him with a bewildered look on her face and he comes closer to her and says, "Think yourself" ... then it dawns on her that he expects a kiss from her and when she does, he is happy again. :)

I am so in love with this drama! Qin Shen is so super handsome and he only has eyes for his Yuan Qian. That’s so rare for a guy to only look at and want one girl. So I love him. And Yuan Qian should be shouting from the rooftop to the stars that she is ending her single life and now has the most handsomest guy in her school and he only l♥️ves her.

I like this couple, their story so lovable, thanks Author you make a nice drama.

True, jealousy unchecked can lead to violence, but in this story he was never physically violent against her. He was itching to fight with Song Siyi, but he never yelled or cursed at her ...the threat of violence was always against his rival, not his girlfriend. :)

She's a people pleaser, can't say no, and doesn't want to hurt anyones feelings. It's the whole premise of why she won't just ask for a transfer at the beginning and keeps doing things to please the teacher and others. The type who only has a backbone if others mess with her friends. She'll hurt the people she's closest to by trying to make EVERYONE happy and the bestest friends.

Jealousy can be cute, but he's literally trying to get in the way of a childhood friendship & that really doesn't sit right with me. Even if the other guy has feelings for her, as long as he doesn't act or go about it in a bad way, it's fine - he can always get over it and keep the friendship. Don't be too possessive and controlling over your significant other!

lmao hate to burst your bubble but there’s nothing wrong with his jealousy. i mean how can you blame the guy if he’s never been in love with someone before nor had someone to show affection to? and now that he finally does and has someone who makes him happy, of course he’s going to be really protective especially if he knows damn well that another guy is in love with her too. yeah, they’re childhood friends or whatever but that doesn’t change the fact that he tried multiple times to get her to like him when he clearly knew she had no interest. qin shen doesn’t want to lose her since he’s finally found someone who makes him happy. after all, she doesn’t seem to mind it at all so it’s really not that big of a deal.

@Ballu Kaur --- I understand what you are saying ... but perhaps you should consider that the childhood friendship is no longer what it was ... thanks to Song Siyi's efforts, it has evolved from its original status of friendship and it was now part of a love triangle. That is why Qin Shen is so jealous. Because of Song Siyi's actions and words, Qin Shen knows that he wants much more than a friendship with his girlfriend -- what man would put up with that! If the friendship suffers in the end, I feel that Song Siyi bears more the blame than Qin Shen. ✌️✌️✌️ As far as growing in maturity ... Song Siyi's reckless approach put stress on the friendship, damaged the girl's reputation, and exacerbated the tensions between the couple's relationship. Relationships evolve, be it friendship or romantic ones. It depends on the actions of those involved how well a friendship is preserved. ❤️❤️

Such a cute show i had a bit of trouble with the concept of having a partner so jealous, but different cutters so have to accept the jealous boyfriend partner. Its very cute the height thing im a tall woman of 5'9 so I've only met 1 guy who made me feel short he is 6'11 and so anyone looked short to him but my only experience feeling that way I've met others who were taller then me but only 1 who made me feel short.

Song Siyi siempre fue bueno con ella, el protagonista solo demostro que es un celoso, los.celos son lindos hasta cierto punto ya cuando quieren hacer "quedar lindo" a hombres celosos prohibiendo que su novia vea o hable con un amigo ya no es normal, ademas Song Siyi hizo tantas cosas por ella. En fin me dio mucha rabia esto :(
