i do spend alot of time test riding, reshaping and repeat for the heightmap and yes i do need to improve texturing for sure. thanks for the love. btw i think why you had to stretch the jumps so hard on the 250 is probably cuz ur using medium tires and they increase rolling resistance and limit top speed compared to mid softs.

Your tracks are epic, but there is one thing I may reccomend, they both visually look too similar with the textures. Different tracks should also be very different visually to distinguish and maintain their own identity. Much love!❤ Looking forward to more of your masterpieces.

I used to race up until I left for college. 29 now and just got a klx140r pit bike basically. I’d recommend it or 110. Cheaper, easy maintenance, ride in shorts and a tshirt. Also way easier to find places to ride it or even in the backyard if you have room. It’s been a blast so far

I've never watched much MX Bikes gameplay, but this game looks a lot better than any MX-related game since Reflex. I'd still love to see a revival of the fan-made Reflex tracks. I'm highly considering buying this especially if there are a lot of fan-made tracks. Looking forward to the season, I also quit caring as much about watching SX/MX when the Reed & Stewart rivalry ended. Reed was my favorite of all time & I'm really hoping that some new rivalries will get started this year with all the new guys.

100% support you getting a bike and doing some irl moto. From what I’ve found the real life moto stuff and mx bikes content actually mix pretty well thanks to the pov from GoPros and this game looking very similar.

I find myself sticking my foot out like I’m going thru a corner a lot, or the other day I was playing and got a little off balanced and naturally I kinda leaned forward and to the right in my chair, in real life and I made that same correction in game (idk how my brain actually communicated to do it in game but it did) and as soon as I made that correction of body in game my bike and everything stabled right out. It is kind of crazy how the game actually can and does tap into a “real” feeling.

How do you get your front wheel so high before landing each jump?

Hey, I’m in same situation as you bought a yz250 this summer and can’t ride it as doing uni full time now so no more summer breaks.. so now I’m basically just rebuilding it and selling it. If you really wanna go for it and it’s realistic then I’d say do it, but atleast in my situation I’ve realized I can’t really ride untill I have my career and income figures out. The problem is now I’m too attached to it haha. Thanks for the video bro

Bikes can be expensive if you race, but something like a KLX300 or CRF are just under 7k and good to go for single track and Enduro

it’s expensive and dangerous but you’re right you only live once. you can take a calculated risk though. I started riding motocross after I had a job with insurance and a little money. Getting hurt was never about “if it would happen”, it was “when”. Broke my leg a few years into it but I had coverage for the medical and luckily could still work and take care of myself. A good disability insurance policy also helps in case you can’t work. It’s a risk but I’m glad I took it! 41 years old with a child now and I still ride.
