This version ought to be the among the worst. In many of these drama somehow ML was not actively sleeping with mistress. Here it goes on for years. There is not even that token "knife of forgiveness" to show he is willing to risk himself for her now . Instead he was again hanging out with other women and drinking when mother called him.

Every time i watch these abusive dramas, I kick myself for damaging my brain. How spineless can these women be that they stay with a terrible person. Do the Chinese not have any police? Laws? well thats the problem. You notice almost all of these movies are super wealthy people who can bypass normal society and its judicial process. Rich people have a way easier time subverting the system and bypassing laws. Shes better off just being regular middle class in the end.

This MIL was so nice to her DIL. She was to greedy knowing what her son and the mistress put her through. She wanted her to forgive her son and give him another chance. He abused her mentally and physically. He was sleeping with the demon woman who killed her mother and baby. Tried to kill her so many times. I wish they would put the husband in jail the mistress too while the wife inherited the company and the money.

Good acting and attractive cast. This gullible Ml allowed a vicious woman to frame and torment the Fl relentlessly without restraint and without adequately investigating the accusations against her. He always believed the other woman, abused the Fl because of these lies and thought it okay to move the woman into their house with full reign. After the Fl proved her innocence, he apologized, but as she told him, an apology cannot bring back the lives of my mother and child. Whether the Fl accepted this Ml back in the end was unclear, but she should have left with the caring and trusting 2nd Ml!

I think the ending should have been more clear cut with her getting in the car and driving off. He was actually sleeping with his mistress while his wife lost the baby. She’s free of his cheating arse and nothing he does can make up for the trauma he caused her. She needs to move on.

For me, with such films I can never go back to ML. You found a man who truly sees your character while the man you were with believed everyone but you. Being a kind hearted unlike our green teas, you deserve to receive kindness. Even if I do not choose the 2nd ML I will not go back to ML. I had rather go figure my life out after such an experience, or choose the better option

Hey, at least the MIL loved and believed her beloved the FL. She never believed or even liked the mistress. She dragged her and the ML through the mud and tossed that side chick out. The ending should have at least been clearer that the FL chooses the 2nd ML. She shouldn't even entertain any notion of going back to the cheating ML. She lost too much being with him. He's been cheating for at least 6 years. That's 6 years wasted for the FL. Get out while you still live and breathe!

Then she’s pregnant but he is choking her. He thinks she’s a terrible woman but refuses to let her leave?!? That's why I skip this It's really tiring, when FL got wronged, she got so many tortures by the ML, he dare to hurt her physically & mentally. Ok. There was an action in that scene where the Mistress and the pregnant wife are arguing and the Mistress pulled her usual*falling down and framing the wife act. The husband comes into the room and also usual blames the wife. But here is where I missed something. Since the Mistress was getting around in a wheelchair pretending that she couldn't walk, and the wife was standing next to the Mistress when the husband came into the room (he had to pass the wheelchair when he came into the room because it was right beside the door, but the husband doesn't ask the obvious question of how the Mistress and her wheelchair are at opposite ends of the room. Now somebody, anybody, tell me if, and what, I missed or was this just another insult to the intelligence?😮

How come this man loves 2 women How difficult it is for an innocent wife to see her husband having fun with other woman How difficult it is for first wife to face so many difficult problems This female lead acts smart / showing attitude to the person ( his friend) who cares for her Don't they deserve pain?
