Welcome to Luna Parc - the home of madcap artist Ricky Boscarino. This house has been Ricky's lifelong art project and obsession. He started with a 600 sq ft cabin, that was falling apart, in 1988. He was 28 years old. Over the next 33 years, he meticulously renovated, added on, and redecorated with mosaic, sculpture, and many other art forms. Now the home is over 5,000 square feet and houses Ricky's huge collection of artifacts from all over the world. It became such a place of interest, Ricky started opening his home to the public (as a museum) in the early 2000s. But the work isn't complete! Take a tour to see what is possible when one man dedicates his life to his home.

100% agree. He is a hoarder but he isolated himself and can afford to be one. Most of them can´t keep adding spaces to store even more "collectibles". He organized his obsession in a way it can be interpreted as art and he doesn't have to go trough the agony of seeing his stuff thrown away by city council.
This style reminds me of Antoni Gaudi. The use of tiles, the multiple colors, the use of glass, the whimsical forms in the mosaics and decorations. It's very baroque and it fills it purpose which seems to be go with the flow of creativity with no limits. This house screams chaos in motion to me. Definitely the opposite of peaceful and restful. It would probably trigger major anxiety to someone who does not like clutter and order. But, He obviously finds great joy and inspiration from it and really, its impressive that someone would dedicate years and years to continually develop something that speaks to his own soul. I find that very interesting. It is definitely a glimpse into his own psyche. I like the top of the house with his metal creations. The outside wall with the birds, deer and his outside metal fountain is so cool! 32 years of working on a house is really inspiring.

Wow! All this passion poured into this amazing home/museum. I have never seen anything like this sort of obsession, and dedication to an extremely unique project from such a young age and through an entire life so far. Very interesting! All the traveling he must have done over these years as well, collecting all these pieces.
