This is actually "The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc" the movie 1 hr 11 min long. The movie covers a period when Tatsuya and Miyuki are still children. The story explains how Tatsuya became what he is, and how Miyuki learned the truth about her brother. It's very good.

That 'no magic' isn't accurate. He has magic, it's just that he is more... thorough... in activation. So he takes longer to do magic. However, that extra time means he understands it better and can do more with it. He also has higher capacity, so what he does can have more oomph or even last longer. He also deals with his speed by using special gear specially rigged to speed up some of his magic. And he has a very powerful magic that is constantly in standby, that automatically triggers when needed. Basically... they promote the race car magic users, but he is a massive tank released on the race track.

@@Arctic_Soul Seems like an odd question. It's a couple paragraphs, so maybe a few minutes? Well, then there is the additional time to consider what I'm trying to say and also read over it to try to catch any typos that could cause interpretation issues. Worst case scenario, maybe 10 minutes on it... but then, I only spent like 3 minutes on this response, which is a similar length, consideration, and review... so my initial estimate 'few' (which is about three) is probably reasonable.

To put it bluntly, if it wasn't for his immortal code (Eidos) taking up 90% of his total magic capabilities, he would be able to do way more than most of the world combined. This was said in the 2nd season of the anime, that the protocol and code for Eidos that continually "Backs up" his vitality, and body data continuously eats his magic power. As far as his gear speeding up his activation, that's mainly to combat his already depleted power. The very thing that brings him back to life makes him weak.

When you look up the name for this anime, there's at least two other anime's in a series. But this particular anime doesn't show up with that name. This is the actual name of the anime, Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Tsuioku-hen if you look it up under the english title, you'll get the series. Just an fyi

The series is a perfect example of how a family's pride can severely harm the children of that family.

Its crazy because the reason he doesn't have other magic power is because his restoration power is so strong theres no room for other magic, for an example he's able to instantly heal anyone to perfect condition even if they lose their leg.

I stopped after a bit because it's completely wrong and/or misses much of the context. Tatsuya was born and gifted from the prayers of the entire clan after they suffered massive trauma. They wanted a superbeing to help protect the clan. His powers are god-tier and incredible but initially were very restricted. The clan feared them so much and his potential to literally destroy the world that they turned him into a warrior/soldier from a very young age. They also lobotomized his emotional range and focused it only onto his sister as a secondary level of control, while also implanting the ability to use more 'generic' magic. To most of the clan he was deemed a misfit and relegated to bodyguard status for his sister, but the reality is much deeper. If anything, his sister is supposed to act as something of a collar or leash for Tatsuya, to keep him grounded and prevent him from destroying the world. This is done both through the forced emotion dampening and magical geas/seals. In reality his sister was brought into being because of Tatsuya's potential and the fear of what he could do. His sister was groomed to be the successor of the clan not only because of her own prodigious talents, but to keep Tatsuya loyal.

This is definitely one of those cases where the recap is better than the anime. The recap glosses over the absurd amount of repetitive nonsense that goes on, such as Miyuki constantly simping over Tatsuya (yay incest /sar) or the whole "woohoo us powerful students are way better than you" before getting outmatched in some way. It just got so boring with how predictable it was, and later on the anime seemed to rely on the Gross/gore factor in order to try and keep interest. tl;dr Recap is better than anime itself, you're not missing anything.

I would recomend looking up the web novel for this, for the information from it, except for the minor fact that due to a "publishing" error the first twenty pages are ALL the first page. Sigh, the info about the MC's back story is refuted by info in the second and third parts, which were both written and published long before the first part was. The first part is actually a "flashback", after the second part, but before the third part. There IS a fourth anime, that covers the story after the third anime. Good luck.

Except those anime they really are siblings. In this one from what I read both of them were secretly modify meaning their mother messed around with their DNA and their body.
