I think the daughter should test to see if she has it since she is at risk. The not knowing seems like absolute torture for her and her mother.

I feel so sorry for his daughter, altho I know she would not agree with me. My dad does not have HD but I am his only daughter too. Yeah, you love your dad, no matter what. That's too bad his behavior was so negative (ranting for 3 hours one time) bc of HD that the family split apart. I've seen plenty that stay together with HD (under less negative circumstances) and take care of the HD patient so he can live a fulfilling rest-of-his-life without begging for money from his only child or being an easy target for scams since he is alone. Thankfully he was able to get into a long-term care facility in the end and the father/daughter reunited. God bless.

I think you missed it, their family didn’t split because of HD, the parents got divorced because he was having an affair. He told his daughter that her mother left him because he had HD, but that wasn’t true. His HD symptoms also caused him to not allow his daughter in his home. The wife was prepared to take care of him, which is why they bought the house as stated in the video, but then the affair became known.

This is the problem. They acknowledge the father's lies, secrets, and shame with HD, Not just in their family but all HD families. They want to stop that, yet they are equally part of the problem by still hiding, obviously still ashamed. "The Family has requested that we do not use their names" "They want to help and spread the word" Oxymoron

You can be discriminated against by insurance companies if you identify yourself. That is a huge issue. Health insurance. You can say goodbye to life insurance. The test to see if you have inherited the gene can be done anonymously.
