That two block numbers - 5 and 335B (that are near Buddha Tooth Relic Temple) - are really not purposely unwritten... Haha... That is really Blk 5 but it is at Banda Street and facing opposite Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. That Blk 335B is at Smith Street and it is near People's Park Hawker Centre. I grew up there. Blk 5 is actually the place where my Uncle is still staying and I stayed there from Pri 1-6. Anyway, I really enjoy your videos about old malls, especially the last video about Orchard Midpoint! I didn't know that there's a shop that sells board games. Now I know where to go if I want to buy an interesting board game. Hehe... And I am always looking forward to your video on every Saturday! 😆

These developments are mostly found in the city centre area and its outskirts. If not wrong, some of these were developed at a time when redevelopment was deemed necessary in the city centre area, which likely explains its mixed development nature; retail at lower floors, followed by a void deck, and with flats above. If we think about it, the above ground void deck is a tiny bit like the predecessor to today's public housing's sky garden? Some similar developments include Rochor Centre (demolished), Brash Basah Complex (which was covered previously), Waterloo Centre, People's Park, Cheng Yan Court, Tanjong Pagar Plaza, and the list goes on. It's very interesting to have a glimpse of how these retail podiums are today after decades since it was completed. Imagine the possible contrast to its heyday. No doubt, some of these places have since carved out their niche over the years and it's still ever evolving as long as they're still around. 👍👍
