Toutes les infos se trouve sur leurs site internet "ecuriemaquisard.be" mais la plupart des infos se trouve sur le plus grand forum Belge dans la partie historique "tout-le-rallye.be/forum/" Par contre, je sais pas combien de km vous sépare de Spa, mais faire 7X les 2 km de montée, je sais pas si sa vaut vraiment la peine...

oui c'est le tuyaux du recepteur d'embrayage qui m'a lacher et la fumée c'est l'huile hydraulique au contact de l'échappement , c'est peu de ma faute j'ai voulut aller trop vite si je te dis que lundi 8 aout il n'y avait pas encore de moteur dedans ni de boite ...

Excellent behavior of the BMW 3 Series, even the station-wagon. The 5-series and 7-series are undrivable on a wet road, too much oversteer. And ... the Posche in general is a great car, but the Porsche 944 is the worst Porsche ever (perhaps this is why they have produced and sold so few)

Actually, they sold a bunch of them. They are the easiest Porsche to learn to drive. They are cheap to buy now but that will change now that 914-4s are surpassing $30,000. I've owned two 356s, a 914-6, a 912, a 914 and a 944. I love the 944. One nice thing about the 944 is you can do so much work on it yourself.

jockellis You're right ... in my comment I forgot an important detail: I live in Europe (Rome, Italy), while, talking about dollars, I guess you're in the States. However, I can assure you that, at least here in Italy, the 944 - I'm talking about twenty years ago from today - have been quite rarely seen. A friend of mine, who have had one for several months, told me that the Porsche 944 is like the Maserati Biturbo (another car of that period), a car born bad. (his opinion, of course)

When did he buy it? Was it new? Just like any car things wear out but unlike most cars, owners (especially young) want to thrash Porsches which adds to the normal maintenance. I was lucky in that the PO spent $14,000 in the 19 years he owned my car for weekend driving. That amount in that time frame isn't really bad.

jockellis First, I hope my english is not too bad (as I wrote, I'm Italian) Yeah,maybe you're right; after all, I was talking about the opinion of another person. Then, I never got into that 944. So, could be he bought it second-hand, but it happened in the ends of '80 (I worked that place from '87 to '91), and that time the 944 was quite new in any case. Then, struck me the comparison he made with the Maserati Biturbo - more or less the same period as the 944 - which was really a car born bad (engine, steer, etc... heard but also read on magazines) and also those one, they were quite rarely views around, here in Italy, and quite never drived by young peoples.

Speaking of the Trident, Maseratis are selling pretty well over here. Did your friend also have a BiTurbo? In the 51 years I've been interested in sports car racing the only car I've ever wanted besides Porsches was a Renault R8 Gordini sedan. I'm surprised there were none on this video because there are still several being hillclimbed.
