Aviation video @ Kelly Field/Lackland Air Force Base (KSKF/SKF)! Filmed on 7/9/21, this features the 2nd part of the first video that I posted of regular operations at Kelly. Now we have the afternoon sorties of the 149th Fighter Wing F-16s, as well as a local C-5M Super Galaxy of the local 433rd Airlift Wing and some visitors from their neighbors at Randolph AFB.

There’s a Boeing facility built near lackland, they’re probably doing maintenance on the 787s
When/what days is KSKF Most active? Where's the best place to spot. I'm a young photographer and like aviation and would love to go spot there but don't know when.

Its normally pretty active from Tuesdays to Thursdays, I normally filmed from the road near the beginning of runway 16 (on Google Maps you can see that road near the end of the runway). Thanks for watching!

Hard to say, it could have been a low-approach (or option) because it was practicing a forced landing, and normally they would request a low-approach when practicing that. Thanks for watching!

Overshot and aborted. There’s another at 15:30. Common occurrence in the Viper since it doesn’t want to land.
