Saw this years ago and absolutely hated it. Kept going back to it for some reason, couldn't get it out of my mind. Skip forward a few years to last night, and I'm in the middle of a very energetic crowd, jumping around and screaming my head off to this song and most of the others in the set. Easily the most physically and emotionally intense moment of my life.
At the end he’s shaking, so much energy
His voice was made for live. Holy Snapple.
saw him in concert for $10 in 2023 and i felt like i robbed someone because his performance was worth wayyyyy more see him live he was amazing!!!!
Feel like this is one of the best live performances of this, there's no beer swilling crowds singing with him, it's just him on this corny American TV show and he's actually got something to be grinding against which is what the whole song is about

If you sent an email to a record label or even a venue that you wanted to play with terrible grammar, they most likely won't even read your email, thats just the way it is. I'm not judging his creative ability or his ability to songwrite, or even that he idolizes Archie because he rips on guitar and is extremely talented, I was simply being cynical and saying that bad grammar doesn't bode well in the music or really any industry.

For all of his years and watching the show here and there for an older rock and roll lover Dave letterman always brought cool music on his show meaning indie stuff people would not expect on his show.Love it and this song
Just zipping through youtube, thought to check it out and ..... majorly stunned. Brilliant!!!!!
I love his voice so much!
Always liked how Letterman thanked King Krule for choosing his platform to make their network debut in the US. It may seem like a small thing, but to me, it shows that David was always a humble guy and had a great deal of respect for the artists who came onto his show.
It's always funny rewatching it and letterman is like they dressed up for the show even though they always dress this fire
