All these years, I've never noticed how the characters interacted with the stages. The detail in these ol' Marvel vs games is still something to behold.
can we just take some time to appreciate the background stages and how characters interact with them and the transitions in some. some of the best outside of XCotA IMO

I love this game. It is a masterpiece! I love the animations, the dramatic posing when they use a gem is amazing. I just wish there was no shitty infinites.

Dude, that Iron-Man is op as hell.
Vocês tinham que ver o Taikoubou no auge, jogando ao vivo e offline na Freeplay no começo dos anos 2000 aqui no DF. Até o MvC1 ele era fácil top 3 dos jogadores brasileiros.

Tai's Shuma is a damned inspiration.
When I played this game in the arcades as a little kid, I always thought "if Juggernaut got you in the corner, you're done for."

That Shuma is god like.
This was infinitely better than COTA (no pun intended lol)! Just hearing Captain America's music takes me way back to the arcade days! STILL the best version of the music IMO.

Later this year in 2024 it won't matter because the Marvel Vs. Capcom Collection: Fighting Classics is coming out for "Steam" , The Nintendo Switch, AND PlayStation 4. Then you guys can pick with one you like.

I forgot how awesome the music was in Marvel Superheroes. Instead of adding Street Fighter characters lets have a Marvel vs Capcom but with only the Marvel characters.

I’m assuming the reason why is because he has tentacles. I believe another reason why is because his design was simply cool and the devs decided to put him in this game albeit with his default color set to pink instead of green as he should be.

not really. i've seen msh matches that uses the gems. its a preference of whether both players want the gems on or off.
