I bet performing on stage for an hour or 2 made up the majority of Chino's cardio. The rest of the time would be spent sleeping on the tour bus, eating fast food, drinking, smoking cigs and doing fun drugs. I think Chino ballooned because he has a normal metabolism that fluctuates how it should. I first saw Deftones in 2010 during the Diamond Eyes tour and I remember seeing Chino in real life and looking very slim, just like me, no ass! Belt's are a must for our kind hahalol. My boss at my current job told me stories of when he saw them perform in late '97! To me, that's peak Deftones!

Well, yes RIP Chi, but he wasn't the heart of the band. Chino is. If Chi were still alive and Chino died back then, there would be no Deftones today. But Deftones still exists today because of Chino. Don't get it twisted.
