. ive seen people weld the 2500 brackets to the trucks frame and use all HD brackets. ive seen the stock bumper brackets cut flat and then holes drilled to the HD brackets. ive seen the stock brackets cut flat then welded to the HD ones. in fact no one films or explains that part , im not sure what bumper brackets you used that had to be cut the ones that bolt directly to the trucks frame were those the 2500 ones? most body shops seem to use the stock 1500 brackets that bolt to the truck frame then you cut them flat and then either drill slotted holes into them for bolts or weld them to the brackets on the backside of the HD bumper the ones that go in the corners. ive seen it done alot of ways but no one really films the entire process or clearly explains it

Okay yeah the brackets I used were from the 1500 bumper, and I cut them up and bolted them to the brackets on the 2500 bumper

Get the 1500 bumper brackets and make sure the hd bumper has it’s brackets and cut
