Plain and simple, This is awesome and I love how you can plug it up from DC to AC . I'll be buying two. Cause, I always like to have a backup plan ? And , I hope the price stays were it is ? Thanks for sharing, You give a great demonstration and easy to understand..Thanks
These heaters are awesome! I've got 2 of them. 😂 However, considering how plastic it is with intense heat, how much 'toxic' stuff comes off the plastic and into the warmed enviroment?...... (Just a thought) ;)
Warning: If you get one of these inspect the unit inside and out. The exhaust pipe was disconnected from the uint pipe which if I had not caught it would have allowed exhaust fumes into the shop space. I've watched several videos on this unit and a couple of people found items disconnected with their units as well. The units work well but their quality control seems to be lacking so just inspect your unit before your first start.
DANGER! Do not plug a kettle lead into that heater! The DC posts are wired to the line and neutral of the AC receptacle. See review by David McLuckie at 4:30 ! kzread.info/dash/bejne/mGity86PhZrLYMo.html If you don't want to open the heater then as a quick fix fill the AC receptacle with epoxy resin. This heater seems to have been designed with Electroboom in mind as a reviewer. 🙂
I ordered it but it's not shipped yet. The biggest flaw I can see is that there's no room inside the box to store hot air duct for traveling. I guess that's why it's not even included with the kit🤯Is there any use for 120V AC plug in the unit or that's an oversight as well?
Did you figure out how to set the clock? I love this heaters

Yes. It's pretty easy,
So in theory if you had unlimited diesel that xtar on one full charge would run that diesel heater on high for how long?
Does the controller detach from the unit?

It's interesting that it comes with a power brick and also an AC plug on the unit. Seems redundant, unless the AC plug is non functional. Also, you're going to mix up your jugs and have the worst long island iced tea ever.
