I respect and admire the fact that Chavez conducted this Face Off in English but I wish he would have just done it in Spanish. It was obvious he was unable to fully communicate his thoughts and articulate them fully because of the language barrier. The Spanish interviews he has done regarding this fight and Canelo have been explosive. May the best man win!

Aunque me reconforta saber que asi como hay muchos que envidiosos también hay muchos como yo que apoyan a cualquier mexicano que trata de superarse, porque creo que somos hermanos, tenemos en común que provenimos de un grandioso país del cual (a pesar del daño que se empeñan en ocasionarle algunos de sus mismos ciudadanos) estoy extremadamente orgulloso. Admito que no me gusta ver a 2 mexicanos enemistarse de esta manera, pero bueno, esperemos que el boxeo mexicano sea el que gane al final independientemente de quien sea el vencedor...

Chavez kinda had em up until Canelo told him you were in my position a couple years back and didn't want to fight me now i am in your position and i am making the fight. Chavez didn't know what to say after that. I think Canelo is at the top and when you are the best people are always trying to defame your name. He's fought a lot of good fighters say what you want about the man but how many fighters have accomplished what he has at the age of 26?

I believe chavez was ducking him in those days. Now that the shoe is on the other foot and chavez has nothing to lose he wants to fight. Because he knows if he loses everybody will say "oh well he didn't have a chance to win" but if he wins he revives his career and doors open. I use to like chavez and still kinda do but he's not beating Cabelo, no way. I'm interested in seeing if he will pay up. I don't think he will. He will make an excuse not to pay.

ggg was offered 5 times more he has ever made and didn't take the fight..80 percent of his fights were in soccer land aka Germany that dosent count

canelo said he wasn't going to let the wbc dictate the negotiations for the ggg fight. If he knew that was going to be the case then why fight for the belt against cotto and why defend it against Amir Khan to. then vacate it?

it seems like I'm one of the few that think loosing weight is an advantage ? .... you may gain a bit more speed and be a bit more agile.... now... also: gaining weight is a disadvantage because you may become a bit slower... then also at the same time both gaining or loosing weight may have negative and or positive results.... it all depends on how well they train to adapt to their new weight (whatever the case is of either gaining or loosing).... and finally.... canelo is shorter and has shorter arms compared to Chavez Jr. .... we all should know that it means more reach for punches... on the other hand, Canelo is heavier so we all know that means more power in punches but it's possible he may be a bit slower since he gained some weight in order to be allowed in the ring.... TO CONCLUDE : IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW THE FIGHTER ADAPTS TO THE NEW WEIGHT SINCE BOTH LOOSING AND GAINING WEIGHT HAS IT'S ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES AS WELL. ahhh just sharing my opinion 😐

Maria Sanchez Yeah Canelo is shorter but Chavez Jr. doesn't fight the way a guy his size should fight. He likes to fight on the inside instead of using his hight and reach to his advantage and fight on the outside.

This is HBO Latino. But BOOOYY you missed out. Canelo was fucking savage, that shit was tense. I think maybe they will release one with subtitles, or perhaps hopefully will upload one themselves with subs. I imagine it would get a good amount of views, that shit was goood. One of the best faceoffs I've seen, thank god a speak spanish.
