The german dub is definitely one of the greater ones, even tho the lyrics don't match that well, the performance of the actors is definitely on par with the original one.

Well... The lyrics are kinda okay I think... The dub is really not great so. Hell is forever is only good voicer over in German so far. Did you hear Poison? Like what the fuck was that? :D As a German the dub makes me very uncomfortable. Maybe it's one of the better ones out there but still not on par with the original.

So to be honest, as a German, I think the German dub is horrible, including the voice actors (no offense to them of course), and while I may be biased, since I watch everything in English, the German dub is really bad

@@iop313 Adams says the rule are black and white. n this moment the screen is splitted and u see him in black and white. In German he says: "die regeln sind doch klar". But if u translate this it means: the rules are clear. The sense is the same but the lines must changed cuz in German many lines are much longer then the original ones. This means u have to rewrite it a little bit. Another example is the line: boil in a pot. In German this is: "wird ewig gequält". A translation to this can be: will be tormented forever

Something I absolutely love about the German dub, which I have seen some criticism on is how it isn't translated word for word. I absolutely love that they changed it up so that parts of it rhyme and actually fit, at least somewhat to the mouth movements and the melody. It is something German is somewhat known for (we have the best fucking translation for the lord of the rings books for example, where the translator just absolutely slayed). I haven't watched it jet, but I believe that the French version has the same approach.

Dies liegt einerseits an den deutschen Gesangsstimmen, die sich im Vergleich zu den deutschen Sprechstimmen stark verändern (siehe Angeldust VA für die beiden Songs aus Folge 4) und tatsächlich Gänsehaut verursachen, wenn auch aus den falschen Gründen. Andererseits sind die Lyrics oft nicht wirklich harmonisch ins Deutsche übertragbar, was die Übersetzung erheblich erschwert. Aber hey, es könnte schlimmer sein (ich denke dabei an die polnische "Dub"-Version). Aber um es kurz noch festzuhalten: Hell is Forever ist ziemlich gut geworden!

Adam ist einer der wenigsten Charaktere die sich nicht komisch auf Deutsch anhören 😭 (Adam is one of the only characters who don‘t sound weird in the German version)

Ich habe auch nur zufällig entdeckt das es die ganze Serie auch auf deutsch gibt😁😁😁 Hab trotzdem erstmal das original gesehen und dann nochmal auf deutsch. Es ist wirklich geil gemacht, aber leider geht wie so oft Witze und Sprüche in der deutschen Version nicht auf. Trotzdem, ist selbst die deutsche Version ne 10/10😊
